Hi Guys, to clarify a few things about this video. #1 - The story of Alex is taken from the book, and it is an imaginary story. However, lessons come from the author’s real life experiences. #2 - We are not talking here about those logos you can buy for $ 5$ on Upwork or Fiverr. Alex's logos aren’t just simple designs-they’re part of a bigger, more strategic branding effort.

If people think 100+ people companies are going to buy a 5-50 logo, they reaaaaaally don't understand business. Honestly. There is too much risk to the buyer persona (who is a marketing officer, probably) to buy a 50$ logo. Consider he/she is NOT buying a logo, he/she is buying a full story he can sell internally. Real case I lived: Elzaburu, the oldest IP firm in Spain made a rebrand. They spend TONS in the rebrand of the logo, colours, slogan, and applicator of the same in their flyers, web, agreements, letters... And particularly to have a strong narrative on WHY the rebrand to explain to the OLD shareholders, who are 60+ age average. Please note this is NOT Microsoft. We are talking about a company with less than 200 employees

It is a business, it's just not a functioning business is the struggling business period. It's so insulting to hear people mislable what someone has worked to build, and since sciences I it says to begin with the end in mind you have to see it as a business before you get started.

As with all information dissemination, there will be some valuable insights. Thank you for reviewing the book, I've gained some process tips that are worth trying out. I also like the fact that productivizing is being reinforced as a good way to scale a small business. The aspect of hiring salespeople to help with the scaling is one that I hadn't considered before. But it sure makes a whole lot of sense.

The issue about doing 1 product is that you leave opportunities on the table depending on the business. Are you going to turn down a 30k job that is in a different service line but within the same industry. They want to book you because it has features that the client believes you can do it. This concept of one product at a time works if you find a market fit for one product. In video production, it deals with various components

7:40 I don't grasp the concept of creating a unique process and not "customizing" it in terms of a logo business. Can you give specific example?
@kalondumakau2682 ай бұрын
The whole idea is to move away from tailor making every single (logo) for every single client. Because this is a limited approach and not scalable, as well as time consuming. Hence, by having a unique process that can be used by numerous customers is more efficient and scalable. You can reach more customers and by following the steps outlined in the unique process, can achieve their (logos). They can even use the steps to tailor the logos according to their preferences, but essentially, the unique process is what you sell to them. I would give a simple example of a cake mix being sold in the supermarket/grocery stores/online etc. If a company wants to sell individual cake ingredients (ie the eggs, milk, baking powder, flour etc) to customers, they will most likely achieve a small percentage of sales, because every customer would want to make different kind of cakes and require specific ingredients. Eg chocolate cake, Lactose free milk, gluten free flour, no nuts included, etc However, if the same company provides cake mix as a product, that bypasses the whole situation above. The customer can pick the desired cake mix (eg chocolate cake mix, vanilla cake mix etc) and follow the directions on the cake mix box. They can also adjust if they wanted to, depending on their desired outcome, allergies, etc. The cake mix in this example is the Unique Process. I hope I have helped a little.
