should use some primer to seal the mdf so the edges don't show up at all your open ends imo that's what drops the quality of these boxes how many hours did it take you to complete the box thanks great video too! respect buddy!

Very nice work, I'm also a carpenter/interior builder (from the Netherlands) but never heard of the word rabbet, first I thought you say rabbit LOL The only thing I would make/do different then you did is the lid, I usually cut all the edges to a 45 degree angle and just with tape and glue I fold all parts together and let it dry for 2...3 hours, no brads needed and the big advantage is that you don't have end grain wood visible , so the paintwork is much smoother and no need for time consuming putty/filler and sanding work. (especially with MDF that 'suck' all the paint in on the end sides) Nice tools you have, I'm a big Festool fan also !! I can recommend the Festool CXS 10.8 screwdriver instead of that Makita thingy you use ;-)
