Good video. I especially appreciated that you did not remove the sections where you had an error. Seeing how you dealt with the errors was valuable information.

Quick question. This works excellent for a quick one component per page setup. How can I display multiple components in one view easily? For example, chat on the right in a popover on a blog? You tutorials are some of the best out there.

Hey Brad, Thank you for this tutorial and overview. It helped me understand more about how the full MEAN stack components work together. There are a lot of files and it can be overwhelming for me at times, but I am able to follow along with the pace and flow of your presentations in a non-threatening and non-stressful way. I appreciate that a great deal. I will keep at it and put in the volume of work so I can get better.

Hello, I have watched both videos concerning MEAN today. Thank you for such great and well explained presentations ! I have left behind website development 7 years ago. I've started with PHP back in 2002 and continued with .NET cause it was payed better. Since then I did a Laravel project from scratch 4 years ago but it was not published. But I've learned Laravel and Bootstrap. Today I just wanted to understand what is the thing with NodeJS and AngularJS and, thanks to your videos, everything is now crystal clear. Especially the one created from scratch. Many thanks for your effort and best regards!

Hi Brad .. Thanks for this awesome MEAN tutorial video .. I got a question for you: What could be a better option MEAN.IO or MEAN.JS ? Some people say "Mean.IO", other say "Mean.js" .. So, what do you prefer?

Awesome video on meanstack I really enjoyed following along with you! I have a strange issue however around the 15min mark of your video every change we made on the code isn't reflected in localhost. I don't have any errors in the log and my code matches yours but no changes past redoing the menu bar tabs. Any ideas what went wrong?

Man your on a roll with great tutorials, how do you fit all that in your head? I can't learn one language yet. =)
@TraversyMedia8 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I used to be the same way but after a while, you realize that many of languages, frameworks, stacks, etc are actually very similar and you can kind of think in one way for most of them. Its a little hard to explain but Im going to be putting together a video on that subject and how to manage all the knowledge of all these technologies. There are so many things thrown at us in web dev almost daily so it can be overwhelming, but Im telling you, keep at it. You are just as capable if not more than I am of learning all of it
@sunmustbedestroyed8 жыл бұрын
When you say "keep at it", are you suggesting we put aside a certain amount of time every day/week to learning and practicing this stuff? Is half an hour a day sufficient?
@TraversyMedia8 жыл бұрын
Yes I would strongly suggest coding everyday. Keep your mind in that "mode". I know it's hard because most people are busy with their day jobs and stuff but try and put some time aside everyday. I think a half hour is fine if it is everyday. Do a little more if your schedule allows it. Do one project like this per day. Doesn't have to be mine but something short where you actually build something

Open a separate terminal or command prompt, navigate to your project and type "mongod". This will open a connection to your database.

Everyone is different and it depends on how much time you spend learning. I learned PHP even before JavaScript. I learned in about 6 months. But once you learn one language, it is so much easier to learn others as most have the same principles just different syntax. 1- 2 years coding all the time and you will pickup any language pretty quick. At least in my experience
