I really enjoyed building the two models and was lucky enough to get the gemstones when I built it with Eaglemoss, now I’ve got two, one with the gemstones in my parents living room next to the Earth, moon and sun orbiter model that I built with Eaglemoss and a gemstone globe that my sister got them and they even sort of match! The other I kept.

Hiya Wayne.. you just reminded me. When you made the original orrery it occurred to me that every orrery has circular orbits, and in reality they are elliptical. I'll have to go back to thinking how to design one with elliptical orbits.

Ok i did it thanks a lot for the tutorial it helped tremendously 😊 Is there any way to make it go faster? it seems to me that the planets from saturn onward are not moving at all or meaby i did something wrong 😢

No they moce very very very slowly

I see that the books are published by Eaglemoss collections: was this orrery one of their products before they went bankrupt?

I guess you can. The gears will still be there but the planets and arms can be removed@@gold_pressed_latinum

One of the moons on Mars will be destroy by the planet and will become a rin around Mars in the near future. So the books will have obsolete information but if I bay them it will be because the art. It has beautiful pictures taken by the Huble telescope.

Let,s just focus on getting an astronaught to Mars 1st but it will only be a one way trip/their will be no return journey unlike in that film The Martian
