Agreed brother, this build off series took it to another level. The teams had a good level of friendship with typical garage banter and ribbing but both showed some mad skills along the way with the fab work. If I can ask for one thing in the future please do a champions build off edition with a 3 way final or semi finals etc depending on how many series are in the pipeline, we could even have a losers 3 or 5 day shoot out at a track come next summer. A++ content, really loved these builds, the fact it was close after starting with that crappy Camaro speaks volumes of the work put in, truth be told imo no losers in this build off. Respect.

I'm proposing a 3 man crew. This season the build teams were missing a third member. A three man team : driver/team captain; builder /fabricator /visionary ; and lastly a knowledgable tuner (something other than holley and AEM). If all three members chip in wpuld the build end up with a more focused goal.

The only item i think that has remained consistemt is the AEM /Holley being used as the programming . this show could be awesome with a NB boosted mx5 with Megasquirt facing a 1uz swapped cressida with. People drift Z's all the time. Drift Z's have been done a million times, it's an old recipe. Yes it has an original engine but that's it. They didn't even change the transmission. Honestly who cares about some four cylinder the only reason they did that swap was because of budget constraints anyway. V8 Fbodies literally never get tracked or drifted. They had to fabricate their own front suspension which is really impressive, and they had to custom fab their rear end and rear suspension just to get it to be able to hang with the import guys. I bet that car sold for a LOT of money.

It's not just about the motor. A ton of parts were custom made and the fact that a 3rd gen camaro is a gymkhana car is what got it originality points. Th 350z was pretty much stock besides the engine.

Imo the best season of build & battle so far. Great show of skill the comedy was on point the builds were simply amazing. Loved the k swapped 350 and the 3rd gen Camaro being given a life it was never intended for. Both were awesome builds and took mad skills imo. I just loved this season. As I said imo the best season so far for build and battle. Suppy and jamo are wicked awesome together but so was josh and Alex. I feel it was a well matched battle and would pay good money to see a combination build where suppy,jamo,josh and Alex work together on something just wickedly insane. I feel their skills together would be a great fit and they could make anything and make it well. But again that's all imo.

the problem is with everyone having a cell phones it's impossible to keep the outcome quiet until the actual episode airs so either it would have to be done live way after the build off happens or they'd have to spend time making an NDA contract for every spectator.. not really worth the time for the pennies they'd make after all the expenses required just to have spectators there.

Not talking bad about any of the builds they are doing good in the time they have but my example is the s10 rearend break within a a few miles. So if u could build it and have it bullet proofed to go race at 2 tracks or 1 and race then make a loop back n race again it would test and prove the builds

My suggestion; Time Attack. Don't need a ton of money, just aerodynamic knowledge and know-how. I'd imagine a Miata vs Porsche 944 with fat turbos, probably v8's, and an insane amount of aluminum aero including flat undertrays with full length diffusers
