Near where I live there's an old-timey resort that was no longer really in the mainstream, but is one of the few places nearby that has an indoor pool. So I used to take my kid there to swim, especially when the weather was bad. It seems one weekend, a Hell's Angels chapter held some kind of event there. I was there with my kid on Sunday afternoon, so everyone was outside, hanging out but getting ready to leave. He was really impressed by all the bikes, but nothing else was especially notable. The next week, the pool lifeguard had a story to tell me. It seems that a newer member, a prospect I guess, decided he wanted to smoke in the pool. That wasn't allowed, and the lifeguard asked him to stop. He refused, and got loud about it. The older members did NOT tolerate that and made him put it away. Well, they wanted to make a proper apology to the lifeguard, so they somehow found out where he lived and sent a sex worker over to spend a few hours with him. He was pretty appreciative, actually.

@@baconsarny-geddon8298 If im not mistaken the only parts that are fictional are names and sort of the events, and maybe some deaths. Aside from that, to my knowledge, the way the history transpired was relatively accurate. What i mean is they started in chicago as nothing more than a rowdy motorcycle club and through death became who they are today.
@baconsarny-geddon829828 күн бұрын
@versecontro4898 The main character names are all the same, and the general jist is the same; That this traditional, working-class East Coast MC started changing, when the Hells Angels started getting famous, and brought in this more "sex drugs and rock n roll" influence, from the wilder, more anarchic hippy-ish (kinda) California MC scene. And there was a few little details, like the Outlaws MC guy getting beat up by California bikers, for saying he wanted to become a cop; That wss from a minor comment in the book; There was no actual fight, but some newer members were mad, when an older member joined the Highway Patrol. But the book doesn't really have much "story" to make into a movie. The whole storyline about those young hoods, who first want to join the MC, but [spoiler] end up shooting Tom Hardy, that was just something 100% created by the screenwriters. The young hoods, the attempt to join the club, the shooting- None of it came from the book. I'm not saying that's a bad thing; You couldn't really turn that book into a movie, WITHOUT making changes like that, because of the kind of book it is; It's not a novel, with a real "story". Its a photo-book, 90% just photos, with very little context or background given. There are SOME bits of text, with some background of the MC. But its pretty bare-bones. They did a good job of translating the overall vibe of the book, into a movie. But that meant a lot of "filling in the gaps", by the screenwriters, and adding/tweaking stuff,to make it fit the movie fornat. It's not a doco; Its "based on a true story", the same way that Silence of the Lambs, or Texas Chainsaw Massacre, or Wolf of Wall Street are "based on a true story".

I work at a bar in Fresno. An OG from out of town came in with a couple other veterans. The Sanger Club had some members there simply to stand behind these Angels to protect them while they bellied up to the bar. A big AA blowhard kept buying them drinks til it was time to settle up, then he was gone. Almost $300 in drinks. Long story short: The OG paid the tab with a big tip. He apologized and said something to the effect of “nobody disrespects where we drink.” Next day the very battered and bruised blowhard showed up and quietly handed over $400 to that bartender and mumbled “sorry” and left.

The whole club shot their president, his right hand and an 3rd person because of stealing 293kg of cocaine from the antillians. The whole club went free after an short sentence because they couldn't point an killer. Only two people went out with good standing and the rest of the club went out with bad standing. The Mayans scene about them dealing stuff in actual working factories and stuff, that do happen. It's just a coverup as normal police won't really check on factories unless there's some tip off or a major crime going on so it's easier for them to pack goods since it's a factory and also receive it thru other shipment of stuff that's coming into the factory. What I meant was, if it was a garment factory like that, it'll be easier for the initial runners to stuff keys of drugs into the garment shipment, send it to the factory to be cut, packed and redistributed without much issue as cops won't specifically open trucks and check every one of them nor check big factories like that unless they had a tip off or the driver of said truck fucks up. So in fact, quite alot of different orgs besides OMGs use these as coverups for various crimes they do be it drug distribution, money laundering or underground gambling dens. One of the most notorious users of such things are the Mafia and the Triads where it's a normal jewelry shop outfront but upstairs could be a gambling den or loansharking office. It does happen alot.

The Hells Angels, the Bandidos and the outlaws are the largest, second-largest and third largest outlaw motorcycle clubs (1 percenter clubs) The Hells Angels are the world's largest outlaw motorcycle club, with over 6,000 members and 467 charters in 59 countries. The Bandidos Motorcycle Club has an estimated membership of 2,000-2,500 and 303 chapters in 22 countries ( I don't understand how they are the second largest even though the numbers that I'm looking at a smaller than the Outlawz but this is what you will find on the internet) The Outlaws Motorcycle Club is the third-largest outlaw motorcycle club in the world, with over 3,000 members and 441 chapters in 43 countries.

I wish they would have explained the circumstances in some of the clips, for example the 'burning off the ink' scene from sons of anarchy was because the guy was out bad and had NOT blacked out his ink several months after getting kicked out. They found out he still had the ink and were forcing him to remove it in their presence by either fire or knife (as they weren't tattoo artists to black it out themselves lol)

Usually the treasurer has a veto power when it comes to financial issues. By veto I mean veto against the president too. The only thing the President can do is call in a meeting and try to get the club to vote for his proposal but the treasurer has to explain why he vetoed the president and back his own decision in front of the club and the club decides.
