I like the "magnetic housing " But why the hall sensor? 1 sec = 36 stepps The 9th sec initializes the next 10 sec movement. The 6th 10sec initializes the next minute movement and so on Can all be done mechanical and needs only one motor. Imo a bit overengineered. ☮️

Because it's hard to control the exact moment a flap falls. Some flip clocks have mechanical parts to keep the hour flap fixed until the minute turns from 59 to 00.

As of April 2024 there is still the missing minutes STL , it is a mirror image of the hours STL including the cut out. otherwise it looks like a well made project

Love the part where you show a schematic with no buttons in it and then a PCB with buttons on it and resistors. I know I can just look at the video and add them by myself but if you want people to repeat this project (otherwise why would you share 3d models etc?) it's strange to see this kinds of mistakes. UPD. I am looking at buttons connection on 4:58 and the "MIN" button not even connected to anything. 10k res is just hanging out by itself out there. It's just hilarious. So as you put it: "More professional look"...

I got the same issue 🙂 can you share also minutes crank?
@hameddashti9359
@hameddashti9359 2 ай бұрын
@@jamajlik I built this project, but I made a lot of changes to it. For example, I widened the width of the hour section to accommodate the numbers 10, 11, and 12. I also redesigned the circuit board so that it can keep the correct time during a power outage and display the correct time again when power is restored. I also removed the rectangular holes on the hour and minute sections because they were not needed in my project, and I redesigned the missing parts. I also changed the time setting from manual to digital.
