Point on stage 9, you need some grease under the retaining washers on the eyelid rack, may help with the noise issue, also eyes not fully closing. Interesting build! All Best.

Wayne, I think you need to Unscrew the eyelid rack and move it farther to the rear. It looks like it needs to so the eyelids will close fully

Thanks for the amazing video!! For Stage 12, the Upper Structure of the Head on the Left side, did your screw by the left eye brow from State 2.02 not tighten to the eye brow as it just spins like its stripped? mine was loose and would not tighten.. but the right side did tighten just fine.. so odd indeed.

Love you videos. I noticed that on the mouth mechanism, the round pieces on the ends of the motor aren't square. This may cause some binding down the road 🤩😀

For the eye blinking mechanism, i think the washers should go the other way around, since it looks like the rounded edge should be down. Since it looks like the area that they go in looks to be rounded as well. But i am only going by what i see in the video.

I guess those washers on the eyelid mechanism, should be rounded edge down, to allow friction free movement in the slider. just an observation

I.put them flat head down otherwise you will get chatter

I need ur help im following ur step by step but i dont know where i went wrong. So my eye close n everything working as it should but i can’t seem to get a eye lid to reopen . Any idea what i may did wrong . .

It's a servo motor. Just switch the polarity of the wires and it will open

That noisy motor and gearing on the eyes, have you thought about taking it apart and testing the motor without the gears to see if it's just the motor or if the gears may not be in the correct position. Every time I hear it run, it sounds like the motor is under stress. I do realize how much time it would take to do a tear down to check in this, but it would be better to make the correction now in the long run. 🖖🙂

It's caused by gear chatter from using nylon gears

The survey moter works but it won’t move the eye lids can figure out what I did wrong

It should move one way. Reverse the polarity of the wires and it should move the other way

I miss that...now i know that your two boxes behind me... Just want to warn you again again the work you have to look forward on the engine... But for God's sake be careful because your going to have to put parts all over the engine that are tight to put in and you can break other parts off ..lol Just be careful there mate...best regards always across the pond...

If you run out of grease just get a tube of Vaseline and an old paint brush to apply it.

Vaseline is petroleum based and can weaken some plastic over time,
