Build Eddie Stobart's Twiggy issues 131 to 134 from Hachette

Hi all, welcome to my build of the famous Twiggy Truck in 1:12 scale.
In today's video we add the last 5 roof joists and fit 3 fllor panels to the trailer. There is a troubleshoot guide in magazine 134 and 132 133 how to operate the lights.

There's definitely room for improvement in the trailer, maybe making your own boxes and crates to fill it and a driver would look good. Still looks great as it is, well done.

Yeah, I've already made some pallets n boxes. My Mrs smokes, so I've used the empty boxes wrapped them in brown paper, sum cling film wrapped around them all stuck to the pallets. Oh n, I made a forklift truck from paper craft with workable forks and wheels

End of build coming up. I contacted Hatchette today as my delivery is overdue and they said that as there are just 6 issues to go, they are going to send all 6 in one go. So a couple more weeks. Keep up the good work.

To be honest John I’m quite disappointed in building the trailer as there isn’t much detail in it at all, there’s no pipelines for brakes and there is several holes under the chassis. Unless they are waiting until the last issue. I’m pleased your just ahead of me now as I can see how the floor snaps in, whether it will stay in is debatable, might dab a little glue if loose. Also it looks as though the curtains will be fitted once and won’t roll back and forth, which is a shame. Anyway well done John 👌👏👏. Oh and a bit late for electrics as I tried them along while ago and you don’t need to turn the switch on to use the indicators and brake lights 😂👌👌👌

Hi John as a artic driver I can't believe that the floor is red plastic when in fact it was planks of wood running front to back down the trailer.

Yes, but this a partwork model and they only supply ABS plastic and die cast parts. 😀

U could actually put your own wood effect on plenty of images on Google images. I think I'll have a look sometime. anyways, the curtains will be modified on mine to move as I've made some pallets and boxes even made my own paper craft forklift truck for the pallets. I've just found some wood effect fablon I've had a while should do the job nicely

As others have said, the trailer is a disappointment, in fact there is a case for misrepresentation, the advert clip clearly shows the trailer with working rear lights and indicators. No connections from tug to trailer. So often these😊 series start off good but have disappointing ends. Prices etc are escalating and work per magazine getting less. This is my last collection.
