Like all the other Hulk builds, add the Reborn lineage and you get Solomon Grundy. Advantages to death saves aka Born on a Monday.

That's awesome. Among alternative hulk builds that I like (as a hybrid, fist-swinging gladiator) is Amoured Artificer 3/Barbarian X. You start as an angry techie with less than exceptional int. You get armour and thunder gauntlets to get opponents to target you without by simply making you a tempting target via reckless. You rage but remain incredibly durable. Gladiator hulk also wore footwear and this leaves a thematic potential route to boots of striding and springing.

Ok...the Hulk is one of my all time faves and from watching all you guys create this character in DnD I decided to take a stab at it... its not even close to being as good as yours or Tuloks but it was fun to do Human Variant 1 pt Dex, 1 pt Wis, Skilled Expert Feat for Str 4 lvls of Open Hand Monk (Banner...Puny Human) 6 lvls of Rune Knight (Banner grow big become smart Hulk) 5 lvls of Druid (Grasslands) for Haste, Jump, Long Strider, Thunder Clap, Thunder Wave, and Erupting Earth and Enhance Ability Totem Barbarian for Savage Hulk!!

The Zealot fits so well! The One Below All and the Green Door both fit that so well by making Hulk truly immortal

This is honestly how I build most of my barbarians I either use a point buy of 15 15 15 8 8 8, or if I'm playing a tortle or loxodon I use 15 8 15 8 15 8. Funnily enough that also opens me up for taking druid levels making tortles and loxodon's ideal for druid barbarians. The reason for this is because most mental saves your going to fail anyways as a barbarian, so optimizing into your physical stats ends up making you a much greater physical threat. In addition with team support, and proper tactics this can be easily overcome by any good party with a barbarian. Barbarians are best played with extreme recklessness the vast majority of the time if you don't have advantage use reckless attack, if your not close enough to beat the crap out of your enemies you better start running, and if your not getting hit you need to make that happen.

Honestly I would go Armorer Artificer, reflavoring the armor as Hulk form. Later on you can even get Gauntlets of Ogre Power, to fill that gap.

Liked the build. I’ve always wanted to have an elven barbarian with a magical great weapon that had the finesse property. I would dump strength and max con and dex. Of course if you drop the weapon you suck, but whatever.

I have a character who went 5 levels of rune knight then multiclassed into warlock. I imagined him as a stereotypical New York mobster guy who liked to fight dirty with his hands. So kinds similar to the build but with different flavour. But i made his warlock patron flavoured as Cthulhu just so i could say was a worshipper if him amd called him Cthulic... On to the topic! I imagined the cloud rune changing target as a small portal that formed right in front of their target and then opened up towards your new target. Made sense for cthulu in my mind

Personally, I'd go Hill Dwarf, giving me tough at lvl1 Take Path of the Giant Barbarian to lvl4 Lvl4 feat grab Dwarven Fortitude for the healing factor Take Barbarian to lvl 6 to get THUNDEROUS ATTACKS Then multiclass to champion fighter for 4 levels Fighter lvl4 bump that strength up by 2 Fighter lvl6 grab Tavern Brawler Than go Barbarian the rest of the way, making sure you max out strength along the way. Going Barbarian 14 gives you a boost to your thunderous damage
