I’m so glad I discovered this before building my boardwalk/beach neighborhood villages. It was gonna be one long boulevard like street long enough to run through atleast 3 different villages. I didn’t want it to just be 90 degree angles everywhere. So this will allow me to build diagonally and make even better looking neighborhoods and streets

amazing, and in this way you can also build not horizontal surfaces, even it's terribly hard to control the angle

Exactly, you can build on all 6 sides of an object and get very creative but it is a little tricky to get precise angles.

This is ABSOLUTELY amazing as I've tried to duplicate one of the Elden Ring castles in Lego Fortnite but I didn't know how to build some of the walls at 45 degree angles (for example the towers are octagons so you need 4 of the 8 sides to be 45 deg)

@@GrindGeek so I already finished my first version of Fort Haight (just before I hit the build limit, lol). Idk if you play Elden Ring but this fort has 3 towers that are octagons and 1 tower that's a hexagon. I'm gonna do some tests using your method to see if I can make some better towers. Next you should demonstrate how to build In high complexity areas using car jacks or pillars to build a floor with decor then breaking the pillar/jack and pushing the floor into the high complexity zone (vehicles also work)

Hey, I can add it to my list of ideas for videos but after I got the angle I just had to make them slightly lower than the main boardwalk so they go underneath using long pillars to secure them to the ocean floor. They are all independent from each other.

I have a monorail track but my vehicle would break half way and this is before the newest update and I had to rebuild my track , how did you build yours out of curiosity? So mine won’t break

I am planning on a monorail build video but even my monorails are not impervious to breaking, usually, the dynamic platform gets stuck to the rail and I have to rebuild it. I'm working on an idea to see if I can fix that.

How do I make a path like the one in the begining of the video? do i ned to repeat the process for every thin floor piece?

lol, no, just once for each path. Get the direction set and place the first piece. Then I put the next piece on top and nudge it over a few space to make it look like steps. As long as you are always aiming and nudging off a previous piece you won’t need to set direction again. I had 3 paths here so each one I set up direction first. Let me know if you need more help.

Hey, I set the directions for the walkways on land and the placed the ‘branch’ walkways just under the main one. They are all individually anchored to the sea floor with long pillars. I will do a video on this shortly.
