Thank you mate, I used to put compounds and externals on all my bases but recently people have seemed to prefer the single TC. Maybe in the future I’ll add a compound on at the end of the videos (unless the base needs one ofc)

Thank you mate, yeah it’s really hard adjusting to a creative live server from a normal build one, I spent more brain power trying to work out how to navigate the F1 menu than brain power into the build, it’s there if you ever want it.

Yeah I’ve been using them a lot lately, especially for smaller bases that don’t have the online dependability of trio/group bases but Tbh online raids are becoming more rare every wipe.

Switched it up from the Felix to the Sassy for this wipe- working well so far, lad! Console players (as I am) probs need to use salvaged shelves in the bunker to maximise storage space- minor issue. I’ve even got planters on the square spaces on the top 2-3 floors, and a fireplace/living room area on the vendy floor. Plenty of space if players use it right. I’ve defended onlines too- solid. Oh- and an extra square foundation at each entrance allows for a nice trap base set up too

Oh mate, the amount of times I have tried to do exactly that. I either keep thinking “oh if I add this” or think “what if people laugh at me for it”. I will do one, I promise, strangely they are really difficult to design, deffo harder than big bases.

Is this not just 12 rockets to raid into core? Rocket at walls where raised foundation (for roof bunker)is and it applies splash damage through them?

Yes but you would have to get into that position first which would take 5 garage doors (if I am understanding you correctly)

⁠@@Dukeofboots1no, where the raised foundation is that allows you to place the roof tile. You’ve placed lower foundations either side of it. This allows for rocket damage to splash through. So with 12 rockets you destroy the sheet metal wall AND the hqm foundation (one that’s joined to roof tile for bunker). The damage seems to pass through sheet metal walls into foundation

@@Dukeofboots1 I’m not sure if it was your video but I watch over 100 buildings videos and believe me you’re videos are the best because you take your time and show and talk through how to make them There another guy that is tie with you I forgot his channel but he makes awesome bases too but all his bases are just too big and very complex to make. I’m a solo player but I play on a team village on console rust I got over 2600 hrs mostly bases building I probably only have 100 hours of PvP and 300 hrs of Raids lol In Fallout 76 I have 2100 hrs in base building too just love building bases but in Rust base building for me is to survive all wipe without getting raid on to my main loot room and TC I take all the videos I watch and combine them into one bases of several ideas and trek them so differently that when I get raid on my bases I know this is hard to believe but most raids when I’m hiding in my hidden loot room I start counting how many C4 or Rockets and HV Rockets or 556 boom anmmo that it takes to reload in a clip Anyway out of most online raids the raiders usually run out of boom before they even reach my fake TC room with all my T1 & some T2 stuff over 45 plus boom is used I used 3 bunkers and my Fake TC takes nearly 16 boom just to get in on its final build All my bases build uses 250 HQM per day because I’m a solo player that hardly PvP I’m actually loaded with T2 & T3 everything and I usual have 2 Lrg boxes of sufer and metal and 1 box of anmmo 1 box of boom and turrets throughout the base plus shotgun traps everywhere My team village come to me after all their big flashy bases are Raided and my still standing even if raided the raiders never get the hidden loot or my Real TC It’s funny hearing them boom in and then running out of boom or dying to the so many’ traps I have and the few that actually are smart players going through the extreme garage doors just to finally make it to the fake TC room after they final get in are so piss off because they used up in some cases two trips of boom just to reach a room with no TC or no profit lol David Ferros is my facebook name If you personally message me there I’ll explain my hidden loot room and because it’s console Rust there no pixel gaps or nothing like that it’s quite simple I show 2 friends it and only 1 friend kept it a secret and has used it and my design TC fake room and now his bases are 8 bunkers plus sometime my Fake TC room design and we both have survived all wipes days without losing our main loot room I went all wipe and my 20 players villagers were all gone but my base still stand One of my villagers friend ask me to show him my base I actually don’t like to show my base but I felt sorry for him because his base was raided and lost everything so I showed him and he said he never seen a base design like this and a LRG Furance inside the base and he like my funnal shooting floor too. I showed him my fake TC room he said wow you have nothing good in here he ask to be authorized on the base and be team member. Because of all the 9 turrets and 20 shotgun traps and 8 flamers he had to be authorized This was a big mistake after this I never showed my hidden TC room every again And just think we played together in 4 wipes in the village compound So what a village compound is just a lot of solos players with all one key word while your in a village you use that key word to stay alive it takes care of players pretending to be part of village lol But all turrets outside bases are on peace mode that way u don’t die while in village every one base is either solo or team base Ok so after I show that guy triple my fake TC room and the fake TC spot he could not figure out where the TC was Then I show him and open it up for him he could not believe I had 3 boxes loaded with rockets and sufer and a total of 16 lrg boxes and 6 small boxes loaded up he said he doesn’t see me PvP every I told him I grind and build my own guns and things and I farm while the rest of the villagers are PvP I’m building my raid proof base and filling my boxes up Then I showed him the TC Anyway the very next day I got on I noticed my front bunker was not sealed and my front doors all the way to my last bunker was open and after surviving all 3 weeks of wipe and had enough boom for the last week to raid anyone lol I was insided by a so called friend. So I don’t show my hidden TC room no more And I only found out about this hidden loot room from a 5 year old video that never had thst many likes So I been using it since but over time I made a Fake TC room that actually works and piss off raiders I been raided online over 200 times and never been full raid Offline over 400 times and same thing Only 3 times one by inside friend And 2 offline where they destroyed the whole base just to find my secret TC room Had one of them left me a note saying this is the hardest raid they ever done and genius design on the TC loot room So basic that he would have never thought it was there .
