You guys sound great! This is one of my favorite songs. I'm always perplexed by people who feel that they must offer rather pointed criticism on the work of others. If one wanted to hear a song played exactly like the original, why would they not just listen to the original? If one does not like what they are watching, why would they not just stop watching without remark? Finally, how come the vast majority of these uber-critical people have not posted a video of their own? Rock on, guys!

To continue with my previous comment, in the case of that Dm6 chord, on the original recording, the bass plays the third of the chord. Because the chord in minor, that means playing the minor third. This works because the bass is descending in this part of the song. In this key of A, the bass notes are A, G, Gb, and F -- with the F being the bass note for the Dm6. The four chords are A, A7, D, and Dm6.

That chord at the word "start" in "you know that I have from the start" is a minor 6th. So in your key of A that would be a Dm6. At the third fret you can voice it from low to high as A - F - B - D. It is NOT an F major chord.

Kamikaze, it's not too difficult. I usually go to several chords websites and compare the chord progressions. Whichever one sounds right, I use. Sometimes none of them are completely right. That's when a developed ear and some knowledge of music theory can help, but it's not rocket science. One helpful thing I learned long ago helps me get chords by ear. Listen to the bass. 99% of the time it will be playing the root or fifth of the chord.
