I assumed it would be back this year as it was in the 2018 catalogue. However there's no sign of it yet. Unfortunately a lot of stuff has disappeared due to issues with the master moulds and there's a huge backlog of kits which need fixing. So it still should be coming back, but there's just no clue as to when that might be.

James Loder Well the thing is an absolute juggernaut with its wound count and 5+ invuln against all shooting attacks. Not only that, but it's mortars being able to fire more than once now is very useful as well. On top of that, a 50 troop capacity is amazing

An imperial knight has a similar statline, and is usually blown off of the board on turn one. I don't see the Gorgon faring much differently, but maybe that's just me. I still want to assemble and paint one because they're very cool, but I think for their points cost you could get a lot more value.

I bought the set recently and must sya: the tracks still have the same problem, but at least not to this extend. But i had to trim the parts down too. It's also still the same instruction. I thought they would update it a bit to justify the price - you can buy two Sicarans for one Gorgon and still have money left. :(

I guess for them the instructions are still valid, they are serviceable but not the most user friendly, especially in comparison to how they do them for newer kits. The increased cost of the kit will be all the work they've had to do repairing the master model, plus the usual inflation rates they do yearly.

Is this beastie quite a bit wider in the chassis than the Macharius? The floor pan looks wider than either of my Macharius super heavies.

I haven't compared them yet but I believe it's a similar size. I'll no doubt compare them once i've got the Macharius tanks built.

I bought it from FW several years back just before it went out of production. It's been sat in my to-do pile for a while now. I believe it's meant to be coming back into production at some point, but no one knows when.

Beyond the Tabletop damn, yeah contacted fw about it and they said their working on it atm, would be amazing to have back btw from looking at screenshots could you confirm if it does have 50 infantry men at ease that are stuck together to be put inside as a lot of people bought it and cut them out to get 50 men for free?

The 50 men were always sold separately, but they discontinued that kit long before I got my Gorgon as people were splitting the models apart like you said (at least that's what I've heard). I had to find the inner troops via eBay.
