I’m glad I came across this video as I’m just getting in to Carrera gt3 cars and felt I was really butchering them trying to get some body float. I was beginning to think perhaps it’s not possible and also I was feeling guilty at making such a mess of brand new cars. I will definitely explore tuning them to run magless. Cheers.

I wonder,how does having the body float loosely on the chassis help a car handle better?
@tzimmer2 Жыл бұрын
it doesn't... unless you actually think it does.

what are the details of the body screws you used that suit the carrera cars ? Do the stot.it CH53 work in the Carrera cars?
@norcalslotcarsceneandvinta35183 жыл бұрын
Carrera screws are larger diameter. They are usually labeled for Carrera. Slot CH89 fit Carrera

Have you ever wet sanded your tires?
@norcalslotcarsceneandvinta35183 жыл бұрын
No, haven't had the need to wet sand. If I was running urethane I would look into it.

@@norcalslotcarsceneandvinta3518 ...I have found wet sanding urethane and silicone tires produces results..I use a roller set up with no sand paper..just adjust to low voltage Qtip some water on the tires and let the roller and water smooth down the tires..kind of like putting your car on a dyno.
