They really need to buff Raiden along with other older characters man. As a Raiden main it pains me that other c0 characters like Arlecchino/Mualani/kinich does the same or even more damage than c2/c3 raiden. T_T I have c3r1 raiden and she easily does 600k+ burst in abyss. But man my arlecchino does the same damage and she is c0 -_-

Yeah i feel you. She needs a different weapon with crit and energy recharge for the effect. I tried to make my Raiden good for over 1 year but i gave up, too much investment for little gain. Ended up with 259% ER and 65.3% CR, 134.7 CD

Agreed. My Raiden is one of my most highly invested characters and I have all of her best supports and Arlecchino or Neuv outdamage her easily

@@andreweaton6363 yeah same man. I am f2p. I saved 300+ pulls for her c2 in 4.3 banner (I started genshin on 4.0 because of Raiden). On 4.3 I got all Bennet,Sara and Chevereuse all c6 because I lost 2 50-50s then. Then I c3 Raiden in this patch and that is only when I was able to hit 1mil with food buffs on level 60 scaramouche boss.

@@Talinthis I don't know what hoyo has planned for Archons but they need to atleast buff the Archons later when the story goes to snezhnaya arc. And I don't know why but I think venti and Raiden will be buffed kinda because of affiliation with Istaroth or something. Like Venti is called her child and we've also seen Istaroth manipulate time in Inazuma for Ei to go to the past and plant the Sakura tree. And I might be coping but Raiden's attacks doesn't only look electro but she has some space/time effects on her attacks where it's her E skill or burst or attacks in burst mode and Istaroth is the shade of time yk...So maybe something in future.....heh.....

Got her c0 r1 q few days ago. Pulled not for the numbers but because she is a cool character and plays very easy. Can she clear all content? Yes. Is she still the strongest? No. So what? It does not matter if she clears the abyss 20 seconds longer than Arlechino or Neuvelette, she's still a top 5 star. People should remember how to enjoy gameplay rather than aiming for speedruns.

Call me a simp 😂 I just got her on current banner and I keep pulling in hope of getting her constellatios. As of today, she's C2, which is extremely lucky for me because I won all three 50/50 on her banner. I also got Kinich on the side with 30 pulls. Looks like I've used up all of my luck for 2024 😅 Her signature weapon and another constellation will be on her next rerun.

Got my first Jade Wing from the first pull I ever made. Like most I was screwing around in the menues and accidentally, or rather unwittingly, pulled on the weapon banner. Then I got Xiangling on my free 10 poll and figured she was, ofc, the best character in the entire game. She kinda is... But not when you go full atk% physical on field Xiangling like I did. But it worked well enough untill I figured out the rest. 🤣

Great video! btw, Best Arlecchino team is with Furina and not Yelan since she can still stack Furina's DMG bonus because she can still take DMG even if cannot heal, and Furina gives her AOE vapes instead of 1 enemy vapes while also granting a higher elemental DMG buff and arguably higher sub DPS.

Another point to get constel of raiden is the 4 stars , you have sarah and probably Chevreuse every rerun of raiden , so if the new 5* are unwanted you still can pull raiden and hope to get both 5* c6

This game want me to use EM build on her, it give me sign by giving me EM stats a lot, substats went into EM a lot, no crit rate/dmg straight up went into EM. Funny how they were different type and I accidentally build a broken EM Raiden build instead of Big pp dmg 89 EM HP 76EM ATK 56 EM EM 27 EM EM 46 EM EM

Yelan and Furina are used because they do large off field DPS and have high burst costs, allowing raiden to scale her ult stacks. If you do not have them, Rational (Raiden, Xiangling, Bennet, Xingqiu/Yelan) or Hyper(Raiden, Bennet, Sara, Kazuha/Sucrose/anemo MC)/(Raiden, Sara, Chevresue, Xiangling/Bennet) may be more accessible for you. Unfortunately, Sara and Chevreuse are pretty much only amazing for her when they are C6, with Lisa or Mona wielding Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers is actually a decent replacement for Sara before her C6 (but the rotations can be a bit clunky). Sorry it wasnt a particularly easy answer.

Rational or Chev or even Hyper is stronger, double Hydro doesn't work without Furina. That's why people never played them before Furina's release.

For the record double hydro is spreadsheet bait and isn't really her strongest team (Although still one of her better teams and a comfortable one) TL;DR: Backloaded damage, scales worse with artifact investment, Little to none AOE and mostly ST First of all it's a very single target teamcomp with little to none frontloaded damage A lot of bosses are beaten way easier if you have more frontloaded damage such as this abyss: PMA (Goes into weakened state quicker if health bar drops below a point within a timeframe) & Maguu Kenki (Teleports around meaning it'd be easier to do the damage quickly in the timeframe he stays still rather than more damage overtime). Secondly, it scales worse with investment since the damage is very spread out with the teammates, say for example you get an artifact upgrade for one of your teammates, the damage increase will be lower the lower the damage contribution the character makes to the team (same with getting the signature of that character). Teams where Raiden does most of the damage does not have such a problem especially since Raiden scales quite well with artifact investment. Though this mostly only applies to c2+ (Since that's when hypercarry becomes viable) although even Rational or Overload would probably scale better. The final reason is that it's incredibly hard to swirl both Electro and Hydro in that team, while Xilonen will completely negate that issue she'll probably make the team even more backloaded than it currently is because of how much slower she generates Fanfare stacks. Although she might make up for that with her buffs I am ready to be proven wrong on this point.

Funny though, if you get to a point where your teams clears the abyss 36 on a regular basis, it do not matter if your team does 80%, 100% or 120% of any other teams damage. I got her to C2 R1 from CO within 140 pulls, lucky though. Because I did invest in her anyways. But for my other 5 Accounts I ditched her. I'll go for new dps for my alt Accounts.

Your take is typical for somebody who looks only on screenshot numbers. Double Hydro wipes the floor with C0 Raiden Hyper. That shouldn't be even worth a discussion. Now let's talk C3R5. This is my investment. And I got to play that since she came out the first time. her initial slash can do 700k true. Which is about 35% of her total damage output during her burst. So overall we talk about 2.1m damage by her alone. The rest of her team Sara, Benett, Chevreuse will contribute 300k in damage. Which gets you to 2.4m. You don't see the problem? She barely beats Neuvillette and Arleccino at C0 with that. And she can't even touch them C2R1 investment. And I have a fricking R5 bro. That's why I say go Double Hydro. Put Xilonen in the team when she is out and you get almost 2m damage with only C0 units. Invest into Furina and Yelan and you get insanely powerful units that are also very flexible and can be used in soo many teams! This is about what makes the most sense for a player from an investment stand point and nothing else. And I thought I had that communicated clear enough. Nobody is saying Raiden C2 can't destroy content. You still can destroy everything. But it doesn't give you the most milage for the cash you throw at her. And this is just a fact. I won't lie to the players just because I love that character, spend $2500, and main her for 3 years. I will still give my honest thoughts and take on where she is at. So players can make the most reasonable decision.

I would say building Raiden c2 is still very strong if u hav c6 chevruse and c6 sara cuz i could 36 star the new abyss(i dont own any geo character xpect noelle lvl 50) with chevruse overload Raiden in 2nd half which seems impossible to do without geo. She can still COOK .💜🦾 I still use catch but will upgrade to homa in phase 2 weapon banner.
