I think activating c2 at this point is very fair, she has been in the game a long time and have had a ton of reruns, so its very achievable for players to have her c2 by now. Also, you have done MORE then enough in terms of comprehensive guides for her c0 and I personally would be really interested to see how much of a difference c2 makes for you compared to c0 since you have been at c0 for so long. Pulling for C2 and pulling for C0 are two different topics. Why would you pull for C2 if you can just have a C2 Clorinde or any of the C2 from Fontaine and Natlan who all do more damage or value, especially Furina, Neuv, Arle or the upcoming Xilonen, Nahida, Mavuika banners? It probably just comes down to ease of use for sure and how much you're simping for her and if you're f2p or not.

For Raiden mainstats basically If ER weapon use an ATK sands if using a non ER weapon or EL use an ER sands. Electro will always be better unless she is played with Furina or lack an atk source then an ATK goblet will be better.

The ER requirements for the Catch vs her signature is a HUGE detail that I'm glad you covered, since I feel a lot of her guides push for getting her ER as high as possible. I initially had my ER super high on Raiden which lead to her personal damage being pretty lackluster, even when I eventually got her to c2 on reruns. Switching to attack sands for her was such a massive difference since I run the catch on her.

This is a one great guide. You can easily tell, that Jello has a deep understanding in Raiden. In terms of power, Raiden is complicated. Her biggest strengh is her team flexibility. Right now, she is not among the strongest dpses, but her teams are strong enough. I think she could get better, if she could fit a Natlan support somewhere. If Raiden was my first 5*, I'd go for C0 with her Signature weapon, instead of C2R0 ( it's cheaper, has more QOL and has the proper drip).

Too often "strength" is seen by theorycrafters as "DPS ceiling", and tbh, it doesn't really matter as much until we get actually challenging content. This is why a lot of theorycrafters would say Zhongli isn't a good pull because he's a DPS loss but he's never really fallen out of favor in Abyss usage rates. The content is very easy to clear, so there really is no need to hit the DPS ceiling that Spreadsheet Impact would make you believe is the end all, be all.

Also, most players can't complete this unchalenging content and it's not always for the lack of trying. Not evryone are You. Make a test: pretend you don't have Neuvillette and C1 Furina, also remove all 5* weapons from your characters, then go and max out the Abyss with Yoimiya and tell me if this is unchallenging content.

Quickbloom has been my favorite Raiden team since 3.0 launched. My team is Raiden, nahida, Yao yao and Furina. This is just such a mindless OP team to play, no circle impact, no dificult rotation timings and insane uptime with Raiden, Nahida and Furinas skill lasting basically the entire fight against most enemies.

Same here! I play with it Baizhu instead of yao yao, but other than that, its my favorite raiden team for sure. To me, the best thing about it is how cringe-resistant it is. It might not get the fastest clear times but you will NEVER have to reset a chamber. Second best would be how pleasant it is in overworld because its the character's skills that make the team tick, not their burst.

@@seekeroftruth38 back when I looked into this, common consensus was to build your best 'traditional emblem' raiden and rely on substats and external sources for your EM. You still need good ER and crit stats to make Raiden work and you don't have bennett propping up her attack in this team either. In other words, you need GOOD artifacts. (ER, Crit rate/dmg, attack% and EM). (Personally I actually use an attack goblet simply because it high-rolled all the other 4 stats as subs, while my EM goblets are kinda ass across the board). If you have it or don't mind getting it, I'd recommend the ballad of the fjords as weapon. The crit rate main and 240 EM at R5 will go a very long way. (I think Cyno's sig is technically BiS if you happen to have it and would warrant going EM main stats). Nilou's signature on Furina and Nahida's own signature can also provide more external EM buffs. A nice thing about this team is because you're onfielding your electro, you actually get to make full use of Nahida's burst and Baizhu's dendro reactions passive to buff raiden's damage. I think the team has become a little less niche then it was a year ago so you can problably find a more reliable source than just me, but as a general rule of thumb to get you going, I'd recommend maintaining a minimum of 200ER and 70% crit rate with balanced crit dmg regardless. From there, try to get from your artifacts whatever it is your weapon of choice isn't giving to you between its main and passive. and finally, equip whatever artifact pieces have the highest sub stats.

I have c3r1 raiden and the hypercarry team with chevy, bennett, sara is insane. I tested multiple times and my raiden can clear floor 12 around the same speed (slightly faster actually) as my c1r1 neuvilette paired with c1 furina zhongli and kazuha which is my 2nd most invested team. Obviously my raiden is super invested but shows with constellations shes absolutely top tier.

Like their moveset are just the same with other fatui, just hit really hard, I personally think other local legends have a more annoying gimmick, For the first achievement if you are having a hard time you can beat them one by one and teleport back they wont ressurect, you can separate them using the big pillar and positioning, dont go to far as long as you are within the pillar they wont despawn, and their hit is pretty easy to see compare to other legend, 2nd achievement beat thw fire dude first bring in water just for the shield 3rd achievement is the most annoying you can just beat each into a really small hp and then finish them all together. Kyostintv did all the local legend with so many guides, if you have Venti and Jean the capybara is a joke, if you have wriothesly the water mob is a joke, if you have a build healer the green one is a joke, if you have furina the turtle is cheesable, and so on

Constellationys dont provide the same flexibility that more characters do, but as someone thats fairly casual, having the constellations on characters i use all the time just makes the game a little easier and more fun. I don't see enough people mention the completr lack of burst based offielders. Her skill exclusively buffs burst based damage and she just kinda got f-ed over by the new characters. The last character that does burst based offield damage is Yelan. Every offield dps since her like Nahida, Chiori, Emili or Furina uses skill for most if not all of their damage. Get this: Yelan released closer to day 1 of genshin than today.

one of the few things that i think people dont pay attention to is just how incredible raiden is at farming energy for her team. since i've pulled her during her first release, i have never had a problem with energy in a team she's on. not having to switch mid fight to catch energy, or spamming elem skills, or adding another character with the same element to battery, is such an underrated value-adding comfort. PLUS while she is in her Ult stance, she is fully immune to electro charge - i think that's kinda insane when fighting some world bosses and co-op.

Most ppl who are in tune with what’s going in this game knows that chlorine is better than raiden but content creators fail to mention the problems with chlorine that can make ppl prefer raiden over her. Chloride constant zooming from her skill can make camera angles annoying to deal with and can be make some ppl feel nauseous. Second issue is that to reach the higher dps of chlorine, u mostly play shield less teams. That can be a problem for ppl since she has no stagger resistance. Getting staggered can be a big dps loss on her/can be frustrating for players since her infusion are short and has long a cool down. Just some stuff for ppl to think about when they keep hear chlorine is a better dps.

28:54 Raiden IS in one of Al-haitham's two best QuickBloom comps. His core is himself with Furina. The two variants are Raiden/Baizhu and Kuki/Nahida. The Kuki/Nahida variant has a higher damage ceiling especially if you go C2 Nahida. But at C0R0 for everyone, Raiden/Baizhu variant is way more comfortable. I typically play the Kuki/Nahida variant as both my Nahida and Furina are C2 but it doesn't feel good getting interrupted. I definitely recommend the Raiden/Baizhu variant for those who don't have C2 Nahida and especially if they don't have C2 Furina.

Raiden will always have a special place in my heart because she’s the first 50-50 i ever won. I got her on her first ever banner and she was so damn amazing back then (still is), and was literally a must pull. Yeah she’s been power crept now, but unless you’re someone who only plays for BIG DAMAGE META, I believe pulling for her will 100% be worth it. Her animations are soo good, use her E and swap off to whatever character you want and she’s still doing her thing, use her burst and all your party bursts are ready, and the f2p catch is almost a 5* weapon for her. OH, and she’s THE Electro Archon. There will always, only, be ONE!

I have C2 Raiden with her signature weapon. I pulled her C0 when it first came out and then upgraded her and pulled her weapon over time. I still use this character in every single Abyss rotation, usually in a Raiden-Furina-Nahida-Jean team with Raiden built as a hypercarry DPS (that is, not on Elemental Mastery). Most of the time this team is more than enough to contribute to 36-star the Abyss with a comfortable margin on the timer. I'm not a FOMO player and now that I have a character roster that is big enough to complete any content (except for the scammy Theater on the new hardest difficulty), i tend to only pull for characters that I like. Raiden is one of those. Very very versatile and not at all powercrept in my opinion. There might be better options nowadays, but you don't need better options to comfortably complete content in this not-especially-challenging game.

For me, she's kinda overwhelming to build compared to Clorinde or other traditional DPS. With Clorinde i immediately know ADC are the go to build. With her i don't know if my ER, atk or Crit Ratio good enough. Usually i just build her similar to Clorinde in Quickbloom team to get satisfying result.

This is super helpful. I didn't realise the importance of other character's bursting- it seems a bit anti synergistic with Arlecchino which i hadn't realised. I was surprised by the recommendation for chev overload with both- my Arle is already busy in a dual dps team with Navia, Benny & Zhongli anyway. I got Raiden last rerun and her build got lost along the way while building other characters because i was unclear if I'm going for em/er/crit/attack. I was trying to get em eosf pieces which i guess I can use for XL The theory crafting is so complex imo. Even the way the talents are written in game is confusing, let alone the interactions and priorities between all the different aspects that contribute to damage. I normally like to understand things from first principles but with Genshin, i don't want to run complex calculations through a spreadsheet to play the game. Means I really rely on Genshin CCs to eli5 so these in-depth guides are massively appreciated. I'd really like to see a video on the principles of team archetypes, how they synergise to create damage and therefore what components you are looking for to make it work, so the interaction is the focus rather than a character.

My raiden is great as a dual carry with c1 Neuv, Kazuha, Raiden, and Furina. Furina and Raidens skills work together and are hilarious, kazuha can swirl either/both element, and its nice to swap between her and Neuv to keep things fresh. He's insane sustained dmg and shes one big burst. I get more dmg out of Raiden in the chev team but for general play and fun in the overworld i stick to those 4 most of thentime

I do a Sara, Bennett/Chevy, Furina. For the most part too I think we will have Ei’s best team when an EC enabler comes out - between Furina, Bennett/Sara, and the EC enabler (especially if they just buff team EC dmg and can heal) Ei will do most of the work as a battery while outputting good dmg and buffing. When Xilo comes out it will be easy to do Furina, Ei, Xilo, and whoever (maybe Navia). Furina with Ei is my favorite simply cause I have ER issues with my Furina most times that she isn’t with another hydro character

Raiden is my first 5* main and also the reason why I started to spend money on this game, I got her in 3.3, time flies lol. I was super lucky, cuz I got her weapon on 6 pity doing my first ten pull ever on weapon banner 😅 since I used her everyday I really neglected other electro characters for a long long time. I can not imagine my account without Raiden even though I have other DPSs like C1 Arlecchino, Lyney, Navia, now Mualani for example, just bcuz I can put her in some many teams that she is never really benched. I think that if u want to mess around with many combinantions of units u should pull her, she is hmm.. eternal 😂 I didn't try only tenacity set on her in Rational 😅 on the last banner I got her C1 but lost 50/50 trying to get C2. Good video as always! I still don't agree that Clorinde is a better pick than Raiden, tho, given that DPS ceiling is very close and Raiden is a pretty good battery with infinite interruption resistance while Clorinde... just doesn't feel that great to play. And we can't forget that there aren't really any difficult content out there so we don't really need to hit the DPS ceiling. Anyway, best of luck in getting her C2!!!

Grats on the c2! I ended up with c3 after getting VERY lucky on her debut banner. I couldn't swing the weapon, though. On *every* rerun I rolled for that weapon and failed, leading to me getting Ayato and Nilou out of spite (since those fails got me their weapons instead, along with some standard 5 stars). I have played less and less of this game over time so I'm not willing to spend for it, but I am hoping this time the game will finally favor me and give me that damn weapon. I have about 10 pulls to go until I'll know if this is finally the time my Raiden will be completed and all dripped up.

I started on last days of 4.2's first phase. I skipped Raiden Shogun on 4.3 because I thought Shenhe will get a rerun. (Because I love Shenhe) Even tho she is not that strong anymore I still wanted to have Raiden Shogun. So I saved like 160 pulls for her. I'm so excited to get her. I prefarmed everything for her. Boss and Weekly boss mats, local specialty, talent books, hero's wit, mora, leveled up my Skyward Spine. Only thing is missing is her banner. Let's gooo!

I will correct you on Raiden Overload team so I hope you give my comment a consideration as I have been using it ever since I got C6 Sara, used to use it with kazuha and even that used to work great before Chev. Raiden, Sara, Bennett and Chevruse is very easy to use contrary on what you think, I did Abyss yesterday and refreshed my memory so let me correct you on that, that team is almost always at full potential and is her strongest team. I used to shread enemies with my C1R1 Raiden and C2 chev and it was either competing or outright outdamaging my Rational team depending if enemies have no knockback or very less like Elite and aren't too much spread out You have almost no energy problems with 2 electro and 2 pyro and Raiden, as characters are at 90% energy- cooldown bursts everytime you finish a rotation, depends on enemies or ER RNG. Even with no energy building energy in the another round is also super easy with Sara on ER sands as Raiden always gets like half energy in her burst even if you finish enemy early. You also creates overloads constantly when filling energy in either Bennett, Chev and Sara. So doing alot of rotations is very easy, its probably easiest team I have played ever in this game which needs bursts. My roataion is always Raiden E -Sara E-crgd atk it also buffs Q which comes later- Chev E/Q- Bennett E/Q- Sara Q- Raiden Q You can do this indefinitely as I said above you will have all of characters at full energy at the end of the rotation or Bennett or Chev at almost full, Sara is always at full regardless so you almost never loose any dmg or run out of Chev Overload timing buff, only draw back is Bennett's circle but it was never a problem for me cause Raiden still shreads enemies even if I go out of circle. My team uses- Raiden: EL (63:163)- Sara: Skyward Harp(forgot her crt ratio but its good i think, i will update it after I gets back to game)- Bennett: Skyward Blade and Chev: that event HP polearm Yesterday I also pulled so I got my Raiden to C3 and Chev to C6.....Now my Abyss clears with this team are fastest

I really like quickbloom Raiden, it lets us run Staff of Scarlett for some much much needed Crit. I put ttds and instructor on Baizhu since Raiden and Nahida battery him. To me Elegy Yelan preforms about the same as Furina on Festering.

My hyper team is Furina, benny and kazu which is good and was my best Raiden before I got Arlechino. Now, my best for her is arle, Chevy and benny. She procs overloads and sometimes burst to finish off a wave (basically Arle support lol). Very good, definitely recommend 👌🏻👌🏻

dude.. just activate that C2, and you will stop saying that c1 for furina nevilett and arlechinno gives much more dmg increase. C2 increases her dmg by 40%. while dmg of arlechino at c1 increases directly with 20-25% + resistance to interruption which is quality of life (while raiden has 100% interuption rezistance even at c0, but seems that you consider this a damage increase for others but not for raiden)... And you will start to love more Rational teams, since it will fix the lack of single target damage of that team, making it a truly universal team for any half of any abyss. and even in those rare cases where you may need a dendro in that team or geo... than you will find out that you could switch easily XL or xingqiu without reducing significantly your dps and without energy problems ( that is usually a problem for other teams because of having 3-4 different elements in the team while without a universal battery that raiden represents). Yes dmg of raiden C3 maybe is lower on paper than of arlecchino and neuvilett at c1. but that quality of life of 100% res to interruption and enough batter for literally any team combinations you would need to make ... on practice gives similar dmg output to neuvilett arlechino c1 ... so 1-2 additional constelations that she requires is the price of having a universal team (Rational) that works for any scenarios.
