So step edit doesnt seem to be working for me. I go to pulses, press ctrl then the track i want to edit and it just switches that track/step off as it normally would in pulses mode. Was step edit an update at any point? Maybe i need an update but i only bought this unit about a month ago. Any ideas? Thanks

some sort of strum on the chord would be great ie some per note delay

What kind of external synth is connected that provides the sound? I hooked my T1 to a Digitakt and when I`m using one of the samples from the internal memory of the Digitakt, I cant get the T1 to make a whole chord. I only hear the top note of the chord I made in PITCH mode. So when its CEG, I only hear the G note

Digitakt is monophonic, dosen't do chords :-)

No acoustic feedback possible when entering chords and pitches? So you always set events for your specific lines by having them memorized before hand, or in a try and error fashion? Wouldnt it be helpful at times when a note is triggered the moment you hit a pitch select button, like in a 303 for example. And for rhytmic input there is also no realtime input ? So specific means ready composed and written down/memorized content gets transfered in an offline process, and than you activate the sequence to get also audible feedback of your specific writing efforts? So no fooling around, but also no willfull realtime creation, you cant play in what you have in your mind, you have to dial it in, correct or have i got the wrong picture from all this youtube promo vids? so as it looks the T-1 is not ment for realtime user sequence input, but instant auto variation and user modulation of pre programmed or generated event streams. Is that correct?

Thanks! Love the machine. One feedback: the illumination of the step buttons in this movie is a bit difficult to see in the video. Keep up the good work!

Interesting because I watched it and thought 'finally someone who understands you need to dim the lighting to see the illuminated pads properly'. 😄 The step pads are nice and bright for me in this one. However, I've watched a lot of other T-1 videos where it really is difficult to see what's going on as the ambient lighting is too bright.

Some would say that you guys kill the music. And there is a big truth to that. I would say it is a new era and we need evolution.

Whats that mean? How do they Kill the music?

@@jospehbloseph7172 because this machine uses algorithm to generate music, so you son't actually compose it in the traditional sense - the music is less human made

@@strayferal yeah, I have one, its more like you do the sound creation on the synth and feed Some ideas into the t-1 and it does its thing, although you can completely control the sequencer too, per trig parameters, parameter Locks (of a sort), you dont have to use the euclidian sequencer for everything. Its not like its AI art or some other machine generated cheat. I wasn’t sure what you meant by “we need evolution “

@@jospehbloseph7172 by "we need evolution" I meant, that even if the case is it is more of a machine-generated music. we still need it. Obviously the human operator have some degree of control which differs from the usual ways we control a synth or a drum machine, so I consider this machine (and any similar one) a sort of evolution on how people could create music. And I mean we need new ways to do that. It is good when they create new synths/machines with the standard controls, like a set of white and black keys and a mod-wheel, but we can't have this for centuries. I mean we literally had it since the key instruments were invented, but still - even during the wild-wild-west era there were pianos with a punch-cards and other inventions. So no matter many traditional musicians would probably protest, we need new ways to make music. I am a software developer for many years, so I recognize innovation and the need of one.
