If there is a re-release of the DB5 (and I hope there is), I hope it is with a rethink of how the parts are issued so that there isn't any issues where you get a part that you can't do anything with.

It does kind of seem like a waste of packaging. You're paying for them anyway, if course, but it does seem to me they could combine every other pack into the prior one and save costs.

Have had an interest in the James Bond DB5 since I was given the original gold Corgi version back in the 60’s (sadly no longer have that model). Living in Bucks ..I’m not far from Pinewood studios with the James Bond Stage (originally built for The interior set for the Supertanker with Submarine pens in The Spy who loved me.. also have The Aston Martin Heritage Site in Newport Pagnell where real DB5’s are restored & rebuilt. So can still see them being driven round on test

The telephone was an unused/unseen DB5 gadget. But it was inna deleted scene+it got mentioned in the making of Goldfinger film itself

Hi Wayne.. just a thought ref organising screws. I know you have the box with compartments. How about adding a sheet of paper stuck to the lid mirroring the compartments inside then write on the paper what's in each compartment? Then you could look at the lid and say for example 'E is the fifth Compartment on the top row, OK..' Then open the lid and get a screw from the fifth compartment.

Also not keen on the plastic window frames. But as people tend to say now, "it is what it is" Which is an expression that I really dislike! ...

Eaglemoss was supposed to be billing on the 17th just gone for Enterprise-D part 12 but they didn't. So I rang them to find out they'd run of stock and they are having staffing issues. I was hoping to get one more part before Christmas seems not now been told eaglesmoss now they will be charging either thus Tuesday or next Friday. This kinda sucks not much I can do about it unfortunately

TBH I think a scratch build sheet of perspex would do a better job than the manufacturers did. The passenger side exists to use as a pattern.

That’s just wrong, pay too much and windows don’t function, too many problems with this build, but I just watch can’t afford any, only one I’d buy is thunderbird 2
