Can you imagine being an actual car manufacturer with an assembly line building a car with stages where you do nothing? The mind boggles!

You have now installed.led the pedals. Becarefule when you handle the part and and start to connect the wires up to the power source as the amount of time you end up flipping the car can cause the wires to break. I also found the spring to tight and could not get the ejector seat to work with it. I also painted the inside of my car grey so that It reflected as it was seen on film.

My dad is currently building this and has gotten to this point. It's interesting that you apparently received part 32-B and your floor pan appears to have the mounts for it. My dad didn't get that part and his floor pan doesn't have mounts for it either yet the instructions still refer to this part. If not for resources like your channel and MarvelPhx's website, we wouldn't know that part wasn't needed. Apparently this has been the case for a number of years and they just haven't bothered to update the magazine to reflect it.

im glad your combinig the stages the guy i watched did a stage a episode and most of the parts only episodes he fanboyed over the magazine i felt it was a complete waste on most of those episodes

the top of the shifter does flip open like in the movie to reveal a red button that Bond presses to eject the bad guy just incase you didnt know

A noticeable mod for this car is the bonnet insulation for the underside of the bonnet. It would dress up the engine bay to make it look a little more authentic. As the actual car has this fitted.

Thank you wayne that you do this build, to sum the stages is very good Idea, cause the Aston Martin DB5 is like the RC Cars back in the days the best example for people think is wrong with partwork models, you get screws and parts every week but only connect some of it months later XD

I'm surprised that there aren't any carpets for this or that MyJamesbondbuild has not modified it with flocking (?) I do know Mike Lane has some metal badges and stickers. It's an attractive car, but the entire build needs a lot of work.

I had a tub full of screws after the build . The main body is two parts some of the holes wasn't drilled enough . Hopefully you won't have that problem. But it's no light weight fully built

Love your videos Wayne. Your skill and humerous patience is addictive. I need some help if thats at all possible. . I recently purchased a fully constructed one of these . When I put the key in to activate the engine sound the key and ignition switch fell into the hole it was sitting in and into the back of the dashboard. And there it remains. In a prison of sorts. Slowly but surely it started to dawn on me that the only way of retrieving it is to dismantle the entire car!!!! Please can you or anyone here tell me that is not the case.and possibly tell me how it could be done. All other electrics are working. And the car is amazing. Happy to provide my email if your happy to give me yours. Regards from Australia.

Yep. I was warned about this while I was building it and glued mine in. Unfortuantely removing the front end of the vehicle is the only way you are ganna fix this issue

Why the previous owner didn't think to glue it in is beyond me. Then again , just look at those instructions on how to build it ! 🙄🤣

Thanks so much Wayne. Your a gentleman. Your not the only one who told me this. I've been waiting for someone to tell me " do this this and this , done " but there were no takers. 😭 I'm not a model car buff but I am an artist and my right brain found a way around it without taking anything apart. There is a very small gap underneath the dashboard . When the car door is held open and the car is on its side , a small torch can allow you to see the ignition switch hanging behind dash. Now, one has to assume the role of dentist and armed with 2 chop stick length and thickness pieces of balsa wood , one can manoeuvre the ignition back into hole . Harder than it sounds but done in about an hour. Again thank you for responding so quickly. 😇🙏🙏

Hi all, I have the hatchet bismarck and started the eaglemoss eleanor, on the eleanor and possibly bismarck there was a "hidden cost" for the display case, eleanor is 100 you can opt out of and 170 for the bismarck on the website (but not from the paper shop I pick it up from). I am really considering starting the agora model of the routemaster bus, are there any "hidden costs" or is it the price you see on website is final eg 50 for first issue then 100 onwards is that all it costs or are there glues and display cases you have to buy separately like on the 2 models I already have, just so I know if it is worth it for me?

Your best bet is Partwork Upgrades do dust covers for the bismark build Elenor/MK1A Spitfire. EM/Hatchette Partworks technically say that their display cases are free but that's just ascam from the model manufacturers themselves. So i wouldn't beleave what they say on their websites about those acrylic clear cases so not it ain't worth forking out for them not at the prices that they will charge you

That's how som of those builds work somtimes🤷‍♂️. 1:8DMC12 issue2front right or left bodypanel. You just put3small Black trim pieces on/that's it+you couldn't get it out again until issue65. Personally this doesn't bother me in the slightest

Aren’t you glad you didn’t do this for a weekly build up. It’s basically collecting half parts then all of a sudden you stick 5 of them together then wait for more parts Like the last 5 stages are basically the whole build
