Loving this build so far. Definitely one of my favorite syfi horror movies
the cable ties are an improvement over the twine, but i'm surprised your need to be tidy doesn't demand you trim the ties while the glue cures

I think the most difficult part of this build for me would be the gluing. I can see me getting glue-prints on the arm as I squeeze the seams together. And with the star I live under, the cable ties would be glued to the skin! 🤣 But I really like how you explained each step and the importance of the magnets.

Wooo glad to see my ideal of using the unused magnets to hold the ones your gluing in place worked.

Great video, Wayne. I really like the way you explain each of the steps emphasizing the important parts.

I hope you re-use all your cable ties, save the planet and all that jazz!? I was most impressed when as a little kid, my brother popped a flat bladed screwdriver into the tab and released the tie... huzzar!

Recently completed the terminator 😮💨 my 1st ever model build. Eying up this now as my next project!!! Is it known if the Xenomorph has a base too? My space is limited 😢 but possibly doable

You will find, in a short time, that the Gorilla glue you have used, will go bad. Not what you have used to glue the parts on, but the glue in the bottle. It will start to, go-off, in the bottle, and become very stringy. Also, would it be better to use the same glue, that you use for the magnets, glue the skin on?
@WorldofWayneUK11 ай бұрын
No. Thenother glue would take too long to dry to keep these parts together
@bedfordshiremodeller449111 ай бұрын
Yup Gorrila Glue is the worst in the world as it eventually set to itself and it will go solid rendering it useless
@Thalon7711 ай бұрын
I suspect the glue inside that bottle will be over before it has a chance to go bad, considering the huge amount of glue Wayne uses for his builds.
@p40f2011 ай бұрын
It goes bad pretty quickly@@Thalon77

Moisture in the air is what causes CA glue to cure. So any bottle will eventually go bad. This is exacerbated by having a brush on applicator, but that's a trade of made for ease of use.

it seems like all of the stretching and pulling of the skin is a design flaw , or am I wrong ? 🤔
@WorldofWayneUK11 ай бұрын
I don't think so. It's just required to make sure the skin is on tight
