Except I used the rx 6600, instead of 3050, everything seems to work decent :) (i also recommend using a different psu, the AGW is kinda slow) in the future, I do plan on upgrading some parts of course, but in general this pc/video is very beginner friendly

Don't get the Rtx 3050, that's one of the worst gpu that nvidia released, just get the gtx 1660 super with the same performance but more cheaper. Or just get rtx 3060/ rx6600 instead.

The RX 6600 is 5 Dollars cheaper at 210 USD in the U.S as of 1/18/24 and performs way better than the 3050 and 3060, want a bang for your buck gpu go with the RX 6600 instead

Please, PLEASE do more research before doing these builds. You featured a PSU known to *short and catch fire* when the 5v rail is under load, along with.. a really bad card that has no right being in this video. 3050’s are awful, unless you can somehow procure it for $150 or less. An RX 6600 is better in every aspect, for a cheaper cost usually. Not to mention the extremely low end QLC drive and barebones board- you can do a lot better for $600. Please do not mislead people into purchasing bad hardware.

​@@shahi4937 I think your build is okay. If you want to stick with intel and if you have the budget for a i5 12400f instead of a i3 12100f that would be a much better pick. You should also consider a different motherboard as well as the one he used is pretty low quality. For budget builds AM4 is preferrable imo. A R5 3600 + Asrock B450M/ac R2.0 is a staple pick in budget builds and you can later do a drop in upgrade for a the CPU without issue.

I'm shocked by how well the 3050 performed!!! As a side note I recently was looking for used gaming pcs and mam are there some sweet deals on used rigs. I saw everything from 1080ti to 3060s for under $500!!! I eventually settled on a alienware aurora r7 with a gtx 1080ti for $350 which is a amazing deal and the 1080ti runs just as well as a 3060 non ti. I had a line on a alienware area 51 with a 3060 for the same price but it got snagged out from under me at the last second of the auction. I'm kinda happy it happened though as the cpu was way worse, it wad a x99 i7 5th gen unlocked though and the best i7 from 5th gen can't exactly remember the model but it was decent but the pc I ended up getting had a much better 8th gen i7 8700 with 6 cores and 12 threads and 4.2ghz!!! All that for 350 what's not to love? Eventually I plan on upgrading the gpu probably to a 4060 or better

I have a mini ITX 5.6 liter AMD version of this chilling in my "I want this" list lol. It's got a low profile 3050 (184 off amazon rn but only 6gb) a ryzen 5 5500, 16gb ddr4 3200mhz, and a 512 ssd. and a modular 500w flex 1u PSU. Total comes to be around 567. (610 with tax)

Wow, nice temperatures. I have an Asus tuff-f15 rtx 3050 laptop, and it hits 80' C CPU, and throttles at 87'C GPU whether im gaming on low, medium or high settings. Just the gpu percentage usage increases🥲

change is the cpu cooler. get the deepcool ak 400 is like $30 and is going to be so much better than the stock intel one and look nicer to, and if you can up the storage to 1tb and if you dont mind going sata than get like a 1tb ssd, plus if need a faster ssd than your mob still has an m.2 ssd slot. so add $100 for a more quieter system and extra ssd space

I know that the RTX 3050 isn’t the best performing GPU ever made, especially for the price when it released and it having similar performance to the 1660 Super, but know I feel like it performs amazingly for a $200 GPU and it has ray tracing and DLSS

Love Micro-ATX cases that include 3 fans. I've seen alot of cases only give 1 rear fan with no front fans. I would copy this build but increase the budget for a 1tb Nvme SSD and an rx 6600/6600xt/6650xt.
