Really wish they had doubled the scale on this thing, at 1:24 it looks like a toy opposed to a display piece. I know it be much larger at that scale but even if they did 1:18 it would look better. Great video Wayne! Keep them coming!

Thinking exactly the same. 1:18 would be amazing!

it is an amazing build with so many storage boxes, and each one has something inside. so many pieces need glue to be sure that the small parts don't fall off and get lost

I was a volunteer firefighter for 15 years. Trying to remember where everything was on 3 pieces of apparatus was tough trying to remember 7 was even tougher.

I just finished Stage 57. Was getting the seat in the cab difficult for you? It took me about 2 hours to get those in. Plus, I had to use a 'J' screw (longer/larger) than the called for 'H' screw at the back.

Not the seat for me. Getting the whole.floor pan was difficult
@rickgregory961610 ай бұрын
@@WorldofWayneUK That's basically what I meant - the entire assembly in the cab. Makes me feel better that someone with far more experience found it difficult. I hope by the time I do Truck #4, it's gets easier. 🤪

Really enjoy your videos. But for the model I was really looking forward during the first few episodes and considering to order it. But the longer I watch this the mor it looks like a plastic toy to me, which for this price I won´t order. Also I feel like they are streching some of these stages a little to much with low amount of pieces and steps that were not needed, they could just have produced the plastic mold differently. But I will finish watching the videos anyway. One question, is there a modification for the lights? The alsrm lights really look nothing like the real FDNY trucks when they are on.

Hi Wayne… is the yellow wire supposed to be a smaller hose? No nozzle on it? The “handle” in front of it may be a guide that the hose passes through to keep the hose straight on the reel… love the videos… Have a good day.

I think its the wire for the winch but I could be wrong

@@WorldofWayneUK I could be very wring here, but most fire apparatus use a line for electrical/hydraulics. This could be a combo line. I did some quick google searching and this appears to be an electrical line, which is often used for powering of ventilation fans, lighting or separated pumps. If I am correct, this would be a line with no hose, as it technically would have an outlet at the end, but I don't think its humanly possible to fit detail that small.

Hi Wayne, where did you locate/buy the model of "The Explorers" spaceship sitting on the shelf beside you near the ET spaceship model. Would love to build that one. Thanks for your help.

What on earth was going on with the hydraulic ram/pistons, surely they ought not to have been such a loose fit? Should the top part attach to the cradle platform thing?
@WorldofWayneUK2 жыл бұрын
I think they will connect to something

Spoiler alert………pack 9 lets you put the actual base to the truck :) (that was in a reply i got when i had a concern for my firetruck, im also waiting for my pack 8 to be shipped)

Enjoyed the video, as usual. I think you really need to tidy up the "rats nest" of a fire hose. A lot of the fireman's down time is spent cleaning & polishing their pride & joy and in no way would that hose reel be acceptable . All the best from OZ mate.

You, should. Build the ugears fire truck, it's a mechanical model, with working engine, prop shaft and rear diff. Unlike the over priced toy from. Agora models!

Question: I thought using super glue (I think that's what you used) was a no-no on lenses, which is why I'm using Crystal Clear. Or is that just for clear lenses?
@WorldofWayneUK2 жыл бұрын
Just clear but the glue I am using drys clear anyways
