This chassis was designed by Hess and Eisenhardt of Cincinatti Ohio. It is the longest chassis ever put under a two-door car. Six were originally made and intended for use solely by Lincoln. Ultimately, one other made it under the 1955 Lincoln MK2, hardtop retractable. A version of the design was used in production MK2's. This chassis is known as the 'cow belly'. The engine that came in the Futura was a slightly modified truck engine. (Yes, Lincoln made trucks at that time). This recreation is faithful to the original. I wish I could have just paid for the thing up front and got it all at once though. Can't wait for my next round of parts. Keep the helpful videos coming. I use oil on all my screws now for fear of stripping or breaking one off. I use 3-in-1.

Appreciate that info, very interesting. Yes I always use oil for metal in to metal, actually the first step in stage 21 is the perfect example as to why oil should always be used. Yes agree, it'd be great to have all the parts now :) Pity Fanhome don't offer a 12 month build, like Agora.

I literally just finished putting this stage together an hour ago, it's fantastic.
