The Miura is one of the most beautiful cars ever made, and this model shows how innovative the original design was. I can't imagine building this model without your videos if only because of the encouragement you give for getting stages done while avoiding problems. Model on, Wayne!

Morning Wayne, yes I agree with a few comments re the oil pumps, one Y should be in both top holes, one Y in the bottom ones, otherwise the pumps wouldn’t work . See you later on Patreon

I have found that the wire connections to switches are very delicate and break off the switches easily - as you found out. I have a very hard time soldering the wire connections back on. If you can - at some point - demonstrate how you manage to solder such small connections. Thanks

That's disheartening. Not to mention in the least irritating and frustrating. Two people have reported wire breakage. Those like me who have no soldering experience, Agora will be sending out a lot of replacement parts!

If only it was as easy as you show joining the front part of the car to the centre body. I just cannot get the two parts to line up. I have removed all the paint on the four lugs. I can’t push the body apart enough to slide the parts together. I almost feel like giving up. But have spent so much will try some more.

I’m didn’t have a problem. I screwed the top sections in first and then pushed the base sections in

@@WorldofWayneUK I'm having the same issue. The parts simply don't line up to allow the screws to actually fit where their supposed to go!!! Could there be a difference in the various parts that won't let them fit on all of the models?? Anywhere else to get help with this? This thing cost a ton of money to not fit!!

@@joeg8963 I had the same problem....sanded enough to get the right side to go, finally ended up taking a knife and scraping around the "female" part on the left side of the front frame...it was a thicker blade and it actually removed a couple slivers of metal and I was finally able to get it in. Fiddled with it for several days, and a lot of swearing. Then came the steering linkage and I just said "Screw it, I'm going to bed". I'll mess with that another day lol.

Agree. it doesn't line up and fit. Too bad Tamiya didn't engineer this product. It would have been perfect.

I'm about to start this Stage tomorrow, and I am very nervous about the Brake and Accelerator switches breaking while bending them down. When I fixed them in the cockpit, one (1) switch broke; and you and Tod over My Miurabuild both had to solder your connections, which I have zero experience with. Which means I could be facing a 3-week delay waiting for replacements! 😵‍💫

Great build! Beautiful job. I noticed that the back cylinders are positioned far into the car. I would hate to have to be the mechanic working in that close quarters! How the steering is assembled is brilliantly easy. This, along with the Porsche 917, and the Shelby Cobra are 3 of the easiest steering assemblies of the builds I've seen! (I could not find the tweezers mentioned from Oilgo)

Hi Wayne, i only very recently found your channel and love the indepth builds you do, i assume you do this fulltime? I work 37 hours a week in my job, so have little time for building models, especially at the rate you do them lol, I am 1 week into buidling the Polar lights 1/350 refit Enterprise model.

You probably can't remember being that this was a year ago, but I noticed you took out the spare tire when installing the front section. (13:49) How did you get the tire back in? With mine the tire wouldn't fit - I Had to start over.
