Another great video of a stunning build. Lou has already tackled the brake line length that I was going to mention, so I can only suggest giving the treads of the tyres a light sanding. This will dull down the tops of the tread pattern and make the tyre look like the vehicle has been driven some rather than it's a museum piece that has brand new tyres that has never been used.

Morning, This is my first model on this scale, when I first opened the box I thought no way can I follow those instructions, but with your perfect instructions and explanation of the process I am so enjoying this build, keep up the good work and many thanks for taking the time to explain each stage with your various tips guidance. Gary.

I was also going to say about the missing screw. This build is flying together at this stage but I have seen it gets much slower as you go through the body stages. Loving the build is all ways. Stay safe all.

Wayne, what the model company should do next is the triple decker from Harry Potter! I've been to Universal in Orlando and they have a full size replica of it complete with the beds and chandelier!
@stevenwheaton8742 жыл бұрын
This build seems to be falling together without many problems. It's very well organized and doesn't seem to jump all over the place. It seems to have a very logical progression from one stage to the next. Looks like a very well organized build.

This build does some things in a questionable order. Right now, I am doing the upper deck, but the battery box hanging loose gas given me issues. Bot sure I want stickers on the outside. The roof sections should have the bracing done quickly as it is floppy very quickly. Attach this, now detach it later. Lay top deck down in place, lift it for this. Temporarily tie a knot and why? Where does it go?

Wayne. When you installed the brake spring it looks curved or bent but the picture clearly shows it quite straight, so that might come back to haunt you later. Great build!

Having done a bus before I have to tell you that you don't need to screw the rear wheels on tight just yet as you will need to remove them as there will be screws that go through the wheel arches and connect with the interior . But i am enjoying this as it brings back memories

When you get to the seats you may want some mods to hide screws on the backs of the seats.
@laurencepryke25282 жыл бұрын
So just completed the joining together of the chassis halves and to be honest I cant believe that those 2 heavy sections are only held together by 4 tiny screws. The plastic plate on the other side does absolutely nothing to add strength to the joint. Quite honestly I am worried that those screws wont hold at this stage and I've decided to keep the 2 chassis sections separate for now, what do you think?
@craigthornton19712 жыл бұрын
Know what you mean, if you pick it up the wrong way, both halves drop down, hopefully it strengthens due to physics as the build goes on
