Your doing a nice job shame about your van tho what adhesive you used to fix cladding to furniture boar just at that stage on my conversion cheers

Thanks. Since filming that I've decided to buy a remanufactured engine (should be similar to a new engine), have the van re-sprayed (Beyond the van - not Nato green :) ) and refit it (again). Not cheap, but a lot less than a new van. Besides, I hate the idea of this van being scrapped. Regarding bonding the cladding, I sealed the ply first with a watered down coat of PVA (just rollered on), then used Stixall to, spread about with a castellated spreader, to fix the cladding. Hi, I'm hoping to have a van built for me next year... it will either be a Fiat Ducato, a Peugoet Boxer or a Citroen Dispatch on a L4 H2 Chassis. In your opinion, would 2x Maxx fans be overkill, or would just one Maxx fan & one Midi Heki roof vent be adequate for ventilation? Here's hoping for a response

Do you have any idea how he approached the pipework for the underslung gas tank to locate through the B-Pillar? Is it just a matter of drilling a hole directly upwards of the B-Pillar and you're straight inside? No obstructions?

Still using it and it's been faultless (van is blown up, but we are still living in it). It's been so good that I've added a big Victron inverter and use more 240v now than 12v. I will make a video on the updates to the system down the line. Whole van runs using Alexa routines now :)

@@SelfBuildCamper Lithium Ferrous is the only way to go now, you have to be dirt poor and probably stupid to set up a new van and not get Lithium. DIY it's not even all that pricey, and as you say, it enables an entirely different type of power usage.
