@Zaakir Jardine it took me about 2 and a half years to buy the basic material. i started by building a two room flat with a bathroom at the far end of my land so i didn't have pressure to move in because i was comfortable.

This is a difficult one to decide on. On the one hand, building is time-consuming, often unforeseen costs arise and location is a con, however, it can work out cheaper than buying a ready-built property. Personally between building and buying, from experience, I'd say rather build, but only if you building in a good location where the market value of the area is more than what it will cost you to build.
@ingridmalamola14764 жыл бұрын
My opinion is, building is cheap but you are most likely to build in an area that you dont prefer because you looking into costs. For instance Benoni side they selling a vacant land for 280k and with that money you can build a house in Daveyton as quicky as possible a dream house that in future when you wanna sell it the person who can afford buying the house doesnt wanna stay in that area. So buying a house if you look at it as an investment in my opinion is better but ke 20years its alot to pay off a bond🤕.
@giftmokoena27613 жыл бұрын
3 things when building 1 buy land 2 get an architect (for me I've made friends with most peoffessionals not that I won't pay but easy advices) 3 Get a Project manager There you go nice affordable house might take 5years but its yours

A founder is an entrepreneur who builds the business from scratch. An entrepreneur is anyone who manages the risk, capital and labour of a business, irrespective of whether they built the business from scratch, franchised or acquired the business later. This is the internationally accepted definition. I worked with a business incubator in SA and we followed the international standard definition of Entrepreneur(ship).

@@FinancialBunny t's better to rent than to buy in today's housing market. Fast-rising home prices and higher mortgage rates have made it cheaper to rent a home than buy and own one. ... Renting and reinvesting the savings from renting, on average, will outperform owning and building home equity, in terms of wealth creation. as I I always say RENT WHERE YOU LIVE AND OWN WHERE YOU RENT TO OTHERS😎😎😎😎
@reynoldsad75 жыл бұрын
@@luckyzulu8203 ... great pointand perspective. But renting only works for a while, perhaps a long while... but eventually you have to own your home. So it's more prudent to have a medium to short term strategy to achieve that.
@yahneh79194 жыл бұрын
Most people don't realize that the answer is "It depends on the result of an analysis" every situation is different, depending on where you staying and the proportion of rates and taxes, levies and maintenance to the bond installments. Sometimes it works out better to rent and other times to buy. Your most important investment should be in getting financial advice which compares the two. And remember, renting is only better in the long run if you invest the money you save by renting. Most people rent then spend the savings monthly which defeats the purpose.
