Great workout Daniel! You should do a video on how to target the lateral deltoid (huge aesthetic component) with bodyweight movements, which is really hard to do it directly. Stuff like Ring face pulls and Hdst pushups may work it to a certain extent, but not very much. Keep it up!

Heya Matias, a few years late but if you invest in rings you can hit the lateral deltoid with Bulgarian ring dips. Hope this helps!

so I am considering transitioning from weight training to calisthenics, but I find I lack the strength to do much of the calisthenics effectively (if at all,) and so find myself reverting back mostly to weights. (building up to calisthenics.) ..I am a beginner, strong upper body, weak legs and core, fat from wine... mostly only look good in a shirt... I mean, can you comment on making this transition? -any advice?

be happy with slow progress. if you can only do one perfect push up/pull up/dip etc. then just do what you can do with good form every workout. one will become two which will become more and more. also have a look at official thenx 'how to start calisthenics' series from about 5 months ago for good advice about easier versions of exercises which will help you progress or to add to a drop set.

I think the reason he did not include rear delts is because rear delts are considered pulling movement. Incorporate rear delt flies into your pulling workouts. This workout works the front and middle delt. Including rear delts should be done on days where you are doing compound pulling movements like pull ups and rows

Looks like a great shoulder specific workout, what's your thoughts on doing pike push ups while elevating the feet and also elevating hands on yoga blocks for a greater range of upper body motion. The yoga blocks cause the hands to be 6 " off the floor causing the head to dip lower than the hands.
