They charge you for a conditioner without slip so they can turn around and sell a detangler separately and the detangler is hella drying and full if alchohol so then they sell you a leave in conditioner.

Thank for your videos. I just found you today and I am learning a lot. I have long 4c hair that looks really similar to yours and I have been trying to learn how to actually manage my hair properly on my own. My mom is a hair stylist but specializes in braids and extensions so she doesn't know too much about natural hair styles and the best products to use (she is learning with me). I have just stepped into (couple years) not only doing braids but also giving my hair a break by wearing natural styles as well. Anyways, out of all my videos I have watched on KZbin in the last couple years yours are the most informative to me personally. Anyways, thank you!

Even when I switch up my washdays I love that you always have a new video for me to watch while I deep condition 😁😁 -This Friday will mark a month of me being "freely" natural and taking care of my hair!!! Before I would do braids or a weave and just forget about my actual hair. I feel I'm low porosity 4c with maybe a little 4b. My current routine is detangle (finger/wide tooth) & hot oil treatment the night before, shampoo with African pride, optional conditioner with Aussie 3 min, deep conditioner with Shea moisture for a couple hours and then I LCO, but my leave in isn't really anything special it's pretty good but I don't think holy Grail level (Garnier whole blends olive oil one). So if anyone has suggestions of leave in conditioners that they feel really contribute to locking in moisture throughout the week please drop them 💕💕 {and I've been wearing my hair in a protective style- a bun with added braiding hair. It doesn't get bone dry but it doesn't stay as moisturized... I use some pomade to help it slick maybe that is contributing to drying idk}

I cowash, leave in, detangle, gel, then blow dry and band. Takes about 2hours 30 mins. Once a month I shampoo and DC and that takes a bit longer but I love wash days and doing my hair. I agree about the white hair products. I only have one that is white but it is a light leave in and soaks in immediately. My fave leave ins are camille rose coconut water, curls hair silk, mane choice 3 in & kinky curly and they all have slip. The Curls and MC have the most slip.

My routine: Shampoo (Idc for sulfates bc I'm low porosity, the product build up is inevitable) 2. Conditioner/detangling 3. Deep conditioning w/ greenhouse method (I often leave this overnight) 4. A light cream (I have to wait for my hair to dry a bit) 5. Oil 6. Greenhouse method again I haven't found the perfect cream and oil yet. I'm trying the leave-in from cream of nature (since you recommended it and it's cheap) and black castor oil(coconut), the Jamaican mango & lime one. I'm thinking I should try a blended oil since the castor oil is a bit too thick but I do like it.

Girl I came back from watching your review on the Shea moisture Manuka Honey hair masque. I purchased a packet of the Shea moisture Coconut and hibiscus curl and shine masque. That 😒😬thing left my hair bone marrow hard 😩😭. It was so thick and I mean thick thick. I’m too afaraid to purchase another masque from their line and I don’t think 🤷🏽‍♀️ their masque would work for me. A great hair masque is the Ogx intense moisturizing masque, Pantene 3 moisture renewal min deep, Pantene recovery or repair masque, the blue one from the mane choice.

When I first went natural I really did too much, now it’s just ; Shampoo (aztec clay mask 1x/month), deep conditioning and the moisturizing. While I moisturize, I also detangle (tangle teezer >>>), after that I seal the moisture with oil and twist it all up. Done in max. 1 hour 🤭

I would but I don’t think anyone would like what I have to say especially since I don’t have kids. From me to you! I would say follow what Beyoncé did with blue ivy. Leave your kids hair alone. Let them wear it in a kinky fro. It doesn’t have to be braided or pulled into ponytails. Let them just wear a fro until it is honestly long enough to do something with.

I know some naturals who pre poo during wash day. I don’t really do it cuz I don’t understand the whole concept of it. You didn’t mention it in the video so I was wondering if I was important? Also something I do when it’s time to wash hair is dilute my Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie with water and split my hair into four sections and spray each section and detangle my hair before stepping into the shower and washing my hair. Is that something good to do?

I need help! I cant use shampoos (and I've tried quite a few) because they lift my cuticles so much that my hair tangles horribly, leaving it feeling so brittle that dcing and moisturising after doesn't bring it back to its optimum. Im realising that this may be why my hair has never been longer than collar bone length as I constantly get ssk and some breakage. Last week I acv rinsed instead and it was amazing cuz it closed the cuticles of my very high porosity and my hair was tangle free! However I can't just use acv cuz they aren't proper cleansers soooo I'm stuck.
@Chazzzisawesome
@Chazzzisawesome 4 жыл бұрын
Hmmm it sounds like you have a super harsh shampoo and crappy conditioner. That’s why it’s supper important to have a good pail. You might need a moisturizing co wash and moisturizing cleanser. Try a mud wash. They are cleansers and moisturizers that are completely natural.

@Chazzzisawesome
@Chazzzisawesome 4 жыл бұрын
I have awesome products that automatically soften my hair. I don’t need to deep condition unless I haven’t done my hair in a month or something. I’m telling you my list of shampoos and conditioners eliminates that need. Deep conditioning is good though it’s just something I forgot to add because I don’t do it.

@Chazzzisawesome
@Chazzzisawesome 4 жыл бұрын
I’m not saying this to be a jerk but it’s literally the best advice ever. Try your hardest to not leave comments on other people’s channel like this. I know it’s great to strike up a convo and then ask but no youtuber can give you advice like the actually channels that are dedicated to growth. Plus messages like this will go to spam because it’s like your promoting your channel. Let me hook you up though. Roberto blake (kzbin.info) and video creators (kzbin.info) they are professionals. Creating a channel is a popularity contest but it’s more than that. It’s marketing, photography, and videography. Studying people and studying design etc. so definitely leave questions for them and really pay attention to what they say because you can apply it to any niche. Again, it puts a weird taste in other creators mouths when this question is asked and I know your going to be successful with a million subscribers so I wouldn’t want you to put a weird taste in other creators mouths or if they even give you the wrong advice. Just hit up the professionals.

Chaz! I love you but water is moisture. Moisture comes from water. That's why so many conditioners and moisturizers have water as the first ingredient. What conditioner does is help keep the water (from all the water that got into your strands from washing your hair) in your hair for longer so it stays moisturized and hydrated. We feel like water "dries out" our hair because water evaporates. Conditioner helps it not evaporate so quickly

@bbappzz98
@bbappzz98 4 жыл бұрын
@@mystari no it doesn't. Water gives moisture but it is not a moisturiser. And that is what she said. You need other ingredients to bind water into the hair shaft - water cannot do it by itself. That's why conditioners use humectants - ingredients that attract water (glycerin, honey panthenol, butylene glycol, propylene glycol etc). When straight water touches your hair, it slides down your hair or evaporates without being accepted into the hair.
