Wouldn't it be a good idea to mount a branch or wood support beneath the opening for the young ones to balance on when leaving the nest or for mom to bring in food to the young ones? Otherwise, great video. Love the simple design.

Did an owl ever move in? I put up a similar box and after 3 years, no owls. A bluebird family of five did, however, spend the winter in it all huddled up.

Yes he moved in, I had an older owl house and it comes every year, now he didn't think twice and took the new one.
