As a core lego fan, mega constructx is vastly improved from where megablox started when i was first seeing them 20 years ago. Their quality is on par with Lego, and their figures are much more accurate in form.

my only complaint with the power armor, is they should have made it a lot bigger, like about as tall as some of the custom brute figures you see around. its shins and head look so small. or atleast maybe an inch or half inch taller than a regular mega figure. they need to look like a mega figure can be inside

Mega has always had the same problem with their Spartans and Brutes. They want to keep as many of the parts interchangeable as possible, but I think it’s kind of dumb to limit themselves that much since they already break that rule by having made like 8 different frames, which do not have interchangeable armor. Marine armor doesn’t fit on Brutes. Spartan armor doesn’t fit on Hunters. Grunt armor doesn’t fit on Drones. You get the idea. If they’re gonna do all these special molds for all these vastly different species, might as well make them the right size. It’s no different to how they’ve been doing it, I don’t see why they draw the line at properly sized legs and arms.

It's not actually to keep the armor system intact, it's to keep the building system intact. They want all the figures to roughly be able to fit in the same buildings and vehicles, thus the more generic size. It was a choice they made early on

You're absolutely right that Lego couldn't do Fallout justice. And its nothing against Lego, I love the company and their products. Their guiding ethos since the founding was to never make war seem like fun and games. And given the well known lore of Fallout, it would not have made it past the drawing board. Even the naming convention of the weapons would make it impossible. Best they could probably do would be some rendition of the Zetan weapons, as those are called blasters and disintegrators instead of pistols and rifles.

I can't wait to get my hands on this set and the Power Armor Collection. This set will be great for displaying some of the accessories you get from the Power Armor collection even! You've got another Nuka Cola bottle, Sugar Bombs, a mini nuke, and the Flame Job Hot Rodder magazine that can all be tossed around various parts of the station. Really hope this is the start of a proper Mega line again, especially if we're gonna get more buildings like this

Finally, can’t wait to get both the sets when the come out. Here’s to hoping they sold so well that there is no choice but to give us more, I still really want a Vertibird or a NCR Mojave Outpost. Mega could literally make their moneys worth with just a NCR line of sets alone lol(I like The Botherhood a lot but the NCR seems to pull more views and numbers or whatnot), the power armor does look way better than if LEGO had done it but I would say Mega could make the power armor a bit taller

They had a highly poseable figure during the 80:s, but it got discontinued pretty fast. Megas size is quite good though. Just a bit larger then minifig size, but oh so much more possibilities.

As happenstance, the proportions of the mega figures align a lot with the character designs of Fallout 1 and 2. Added alongside the isometric camera of the game, displaying this series and looking at it from a bird's-eye perspective would be very on-par for Fallout.

Two survivors would’ve made sense due to this being at the beginning of the game and that you can choose what gender your soul survivor is. For figures maybe a raider or new animal figures for mole rats. Because when you first unlock red rocket and dog meat you do have to fight off a few mole rats.

@ first of all, I am happy with what we got. Second of all, just because there are easy solutions does not mean that I wouldn’t have rather seen mega do it for us seeing as this is an $80 set. Finally, you are entitled to your opinion just as I am entitled to mine, however since this is a fallout four set and they are clearly building it based on the location in the game, mole rats are a rather important part of said location so yeah, I wish we had gotten them. At any rate, just because I think it could’ve come with more doesn’t mean I’m not still very excited about what is coming…def didn’t stop me from picking up a couple lol.😌👍

@DemarcationMedia I was referring to the hands from the shoulder so that you can put hats on the halo figures or even put hats on the cod figures so it mega recycles all those old molds. This gives us the opportunity to make the Spartan figures have their sizes taller than the Marines. I have seen in Spartan customs that use the forearms of the armor of COD from mega construx Oh, and they could have put general pieces of All of Duty and Destiny on the power armor so that it was taller than the figure, that would have been great. thank you very much for answering my comment. Its all very good and have really good additions or unique pieces which i love.... My only complaint is the laser rifle.... They should've used the call of duty M 24 sniper Grip mold and stick the new laser gun mold to it.... It makes it more better and it doesn't make the laser gun looks like its floating or have a weird looking stick at the bottom

@DemarcationMedia the stick is there in game, don't get me wrong but.... The problem is that they use the wrong stock... Cause that stock should be a rifle stock since the laser rifle they using is a AER9 variant... It doesn't have a stick... And also cause when you try to position the fig to fire the gun... I hope they make x01 or t51 or all other power armor in fallout because there's no other good power armor figure besides expensive threezero. This is opportunity that too big to miss because fallout now in big hype especially after succes of the show
