I just want to mention build a soil has awesome customer service. I had an issue with a shipment no questions asked they took care of me right away it was a DIY 200 gallon soil grassroot pot and a few amendments. I also got free shipping which was freight a pallet full. I'm very happy! I'm loyal to build a soil. 💯Bad ass thank you 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

This is really valuble information, I've grown 5 or 6 times, one plant at a time, but now with legalization, I'm close to my first big multi plant outdoor harvest. I've been running pinkberry mimosa with aged compost, bone meal and fermented freshwater waterweed extract. Can't recommend the last one enough, it works wonders especially with heavy clay soil.

Do you want to increase terpeins, flavonoids, essentail oils, and yeild? This is the cheapest way to increase everything. When the plant is ready to harvest, simply turn off the lights for 60-72 hours of strait darkness. Drown them with RO water every day. At the end of 60-72 hours, water one last time, wait at least an hour or two for the plant to uptake water. Then chop it down and hang it 60 degrees, 60%rh for atleast 2 weeks. During this process I find an increase of 5-10% oils, yield, pistols, swelled calyxs, also terpeins and flavonoids increase.

As an indoor house plant grower who focuses on 'living soil' this approach has been my way of life for some time, but it is amazing seeing you guys push the envelope and really bring this info to the masses. thank you sooo much for answering my question and in such detail and thank you for all that you and the rest of the Build A Soil team do! much love

I had an issue when drying my Gorilla Glue but i solved it by hanging my plant in my mini drying tent and placing it in front of my air conditioner. I flipped the tent over so the fresh air intake hole was directly in front of the AC and I could set my AC on 67 and get the inside of the tent down to 62 degrees and the humidity stayed at 60. VERY nice smoke!!

Remove fan leaves. Hang whole plant.. Trim Debone off the stems. In jars a few days then after the first 5 days add a humidity pack. UV absolutely 100% boosts trichomes terpene and resin production. I use my Agromax Pure UV-B after the 3 week stretch till the day of chop. And use UVA the after seedling stage all the way through flower.
@anitabonghit266
@anitabonghit266 3 жыл бұрын
I live in Colorado too. My method for drying and curing is first to hang whole plants if they aren’t too big to get out of the trellis or cut the plants into thirds or quarters. Hang for about three days with fan leaves or until the fan leaves start to dry out and then cut the fan leaves off. Then hang for about three to four more days until stems are still wet but bend ninety degrees with no snap. After that I cut the thirds or quarters branches off and put into a big cooler (quality cooler does matter). This is where experience with my method comes into play. For the next week I stir the coolers twice a day so the buds do not get flat spots. You also have to pay attention to how wet everything is too because when the branches are this close together the flowers get wet again. So I might have to keep the lid all the way open for a few days or cracked a inch or so until the flowers are at the perfect spot where the lid can stay shut and no excess moisture appears. This process in the coolers with branches still attached goes on for about a week. After this I remove the flowers from the branches and put the not trimmed flowers back in the cooler/s and let them sit in there mixing every so often for a week or more until I have time to trim. That last step in the cooler really is for me because it lets me trim as little or as much as I want to when I have the time to do it. Whether I have only an hour to do some snip snip work or a whole day to do it. After the stems are removed from the flowers they are actually ready if you don’t mind picking off the trim. This cooler trick helped me so much with not being stressed out getting everything done in a certain window

I'm in Washington State, I started my plants off indoor and got them out in early spring. I harvested today, my closet is at 60% humidity, ranging from 65 to 71° night today The lowest humidity has gotten 58 humidity, 62° am I in the window??? I left the smaller buds on the plant outside, I have nine more days of great weather, amen hallelujah. Last time I dried them in the outdoor garage, it didn't come out well. I'm hoping for much better, in this closet dry. Thanks for all your tips get back at me and let me know if I'm on the beam. Thank you so much.
