After you get it mounted and ready to ride put in fresh plug and run then check the plug for color and deposit on it to find correct jetting . Make sure not to lean

Once u put the cover back u should take it off and scrap off the excess seal.

It stops the airflow around the engine and there all the heat is trapped in and around the engine and it overheats. For gocarts where u remove the governor and the engine revs high u can remove every second fin to take less load on the engine.

Use aluminium rim acid cleaner to acid wash your aluminium parts and they will come up like brand new!

The valve lash is to loose, it should be 4 thousands on each valve. Not 8.

Lachlan Stoddart It was just rustoleum 2x red spray paint. The pull start cover actually just cleaned up with some elbow grease.

davearonow predators are definitely the best choice for the money...you can’t really beat $100, however if you have a Honda already I would rebuild it if it’s pretty solid because they are great engines made with much better parts.

The audio sucks but the springs are supposed to be loos because it has high presser valve springs that means that when oil reaches the valves it tightens up right

You destroyed that poor Honda it sounded horrible at the end it likely decreased in power to a carb cleaning and an oil change is all it needed and the governor can be easily overrided without removing it
