마스킹,,, 귀찮고 지루한 작업이지만, 떼어낼때의 그 쾌감은 말로 표현못하죠. 마치 보상받는기분^^

Have you tried using a 2K clear yet? I have been using it for about a year now and it greatly cuts down on the amount of sanding polishing I need to do. Not that there is anything wrong with your process obviously 😁

I don't know that. I wonder what kind of product it is. I'll find out if I can get it from where I am.🙂

@@sbf109 2K lacquer has its advantages and disadvantages. Advantages: a high gloss finish that lasts for years, very resistant to handling, and easy to polish. Disadvantages: It is a product that when applied is very susceptible to the adherence of specks of dust, pet hair, etc. Despite this, it is an easy problem to solve with the usual sanding and polishing techniques. However, the main drawback of 2K lacquer is contamination by silicone particles, grease and dirt present in the environment, which react very negatively with the product and usually produce a very common problem such as the dreaded craters, which are small dimples. that appear on the lacquered surface and are contaminated areas that repel lacquer. There is no solution to this problem, it cannot be corrected, and you will have to unpaint the entire model and start all the painting work over again, and if decals have also been applied to the model, they will also be damaged. Therefore, the time that you can spend sanding and polishing the GSI Creos varnishes will be time that you will save in trouble with the 2K lacquer. After all, the end result of your work is very similar to that achieved using 2K lacquer. If you still want to try 2K lacquer, I recommend those from the manufacturer Gravity Colors, in addition to having a range of colors for cars that are wonderful. gravity-colors.com/

How did you achieve your texture for the vinyl top
@sbf109 Жыл бұрын
The vinyl top's texture is reproduced in the kit. It just needs a good coat of paint. 🙂

Hey man. Awesome build. Did the front end fit nicely first? It did you have to sand something. Ive heard that the grill fitment is not good on this kit.
@sbf1093 жыл бұрын
You're right. There are a lot of places that don't fit well. I kept putting them together and sharpening and trimming them until they fit. The front grille was also sanded and trimmed. :)
유광 클리어를 상황에 따라 2~3회 올립니다. 데칼이 있을경우 3회를 올리는 경우가 많구요. 우레탄은 아직 안써봐서 나중에 한번 써볼 생각입니다. ^^

This is amazing! I bumped on your video and now I'm starting this as a hobby. I got a 68 Charger and waiting for the airbrush to arrive! Do you recommend Acrylic or Enamel paint?
@sbf1093 жыл бұрын
Hi, welcome to the world of PlaModel. Lacquer paint is mainly used for body painting, enamel and acrylic paint are allowed for detailed painting. When your airbrush arrives, a new world will open up. :)
