Building a 1000HP, RS3 powered Golf R!

We stuck a RS3 DNWA engine in a Mk7 Golf R, capable of over 1000hp (next episode), here's the process of such a massive build, enjoy!

Which gear box would you swap on 2008 Audi A5 3.2 Quattro? The reason behind the swap is because it does not want to select reverse.

Smaller, lighter, different, handles drives and feels different, some people might like a Golf and not an RS3, but want the power of an RS3, so why not ;)

Don't listen to David, he is a little loopy, the benefit of putting an RS3 engine in a Golf like this, or any other vehicle such as a Caddy etc, you get all the raw power and torque of the RS3 engine, in a smaller package like the Golf, plus it's cool to have the power of an RS3 stuck into something much smaller, feels more powerful, moves differently, and looks completely stock at a glance, benefits of both

@@davidanderson5411it’s only a couple hundred pounds lighter. The reason for the swap is because it’s bad ass and a sleeper. Some people prefer the look of a golf also

Awesome works lads 👍 Seeing that on the road it looks standard (although it obviously won’t sound it), you’d never guess what’s under the hood until provoked. I’m sure you will, but those brakes and suspension will definitely want upgrading, don’t think VAG intended 4 digit BHP speeds when originally spec’ing them 😂
