The risk conversation is really interesting. He framed it as high risk...but its actually lower risk for him. He doesn't need the income. So buying a 100k SDE at a 3x multiple costs 300k and he just had an 8 figure exit. So this is technically a very low risk investment. He has nothing to lose but 300k.

Yes, but you can negotiate them down over time
