Some notes I took (nothing related to the technicalities of What is a VC/PE/Angel/Seed and several other terms which are very well covered in the podcast) After a very traumatic event, you become either hateful or grateful. You can’t teach the drive the hunger. People who come from nothing and have a point to prove, they generally tend to be the ones that … (make it big) Middle class but great education, supportive parents - a way to judge the winning selection Nikhil takes up topic: Does hardwork really matter even today? Nithin: Zerodha started in 2010, all our success came in 2016 - So today of course we can have all the 5 days a week but it took them 6 years of excruciating work Nikhil goes on to add: I lived in my office for 6 years, like literally lived there, my bedroom was my cabin Thanks folks and Nikhil / Nikhil's team, please keep these coming.

Amazing vid as always Nikhil! One small suggestion I have is while choosing the charities, don't make the guest say out the amount to be donated. Just combine the total amount (for eg 25+10+25) and in the community post say that we are jointly going to donate 60L to XYZ charity. To the point Nikhil mentioned about capitalism, I feel every nation should have their own perspective on capitalism, if they don't then it's sad. I believe Bharat has a unique perspective on it. Remember, Chanakya, he was a master strategist and a king maker, wrote ArthaShastra - Knowledge and wisdom on making and managing Money. Btw, we divided money in to 8 parts and also created a devotional hymns and named it Ashtalakshmi. I think Nikhil should next interview Radhakrishnan Pillai and others experts who have digested Chanakya's work across Education, Politics, Philosophy, Environment, Nation building and Business

Having a 2 hour podcast and still have such a strong eyeball hold in this outstanding format in truly amazing. I have an input if it can be given a thought. We should have a 8-10 min focus session by industry leaders to come up with inputs on things not to do when you are scaling the business. The Eg of Air India was truly amazing at end of the podcast if every-time we can pick a large company which failed translate it in form of learning’s. I think that can transpire in for great value addition . We all know best learning’s comes from looking at our failures and taking them as strong lessons.
