Where is the roof underlayment? 30 lb tar paper(old school) or synthetic. Also picked up on the no stagger on the roof sheeting & do the first row first, the stagger the second row.

Most of these shed don't get underlayment. If you watch when the shingles blow off, most of them have nothing

Shingles directly over plywood?

Looks good, but outside of flimsy shelves or temporary window board-ups, I detest OSB. I’ll spend the extra $ for plywood.

Can i make a suggestion don’t start with a cut sheet of plywood on the floor at the roll up door opening it’s going to fail in a year or so driving a mower or whatever equipment in and out I’ve seen it happen many times!

Hello Jeremy. I'm looking to try and build a shed like this one a tad smaller but also with a roll-up door. I didn't understand the comment abouts cut floor. What should I use or do to make it last. Thanks Manny.

How heavy vehicle the floor can hold?

So much better to hire a contractor to build one. There were some short cuts taken here. And some mistakes that if were caught, would lengthen the longevity of the garage.

Great job! Does anyone build the barn roofs anymore? Also what about weather barriers for the roof and walls (although I suppose that’s for a home not a shed). Still very nice build and video!
@wayneturpen5923 ай бұрын
One positive thing is using what looks like 30 lb felt on the concrete floor while spraying. I worked as a painter for 5+ years and it was great to find nice, big pieces of felt left by the roofers. Great way to protect walkways and chimney stands etc. Because of the weight, it didn’t move from the pressure from the airless. Plus, it was easier and faster than unfolding drop cloths.

You may not be. My guess is 200 is for a permanent structure with a foundation, slab, or buried posts. These are portable. I've been considering these as well and have been hung up on that same thought.
