I’m glad they replaced the heads the second time! I’ve heard the ls7 can’t really take boost so we’ll see how long this one lasts!

they’re not throwing a ton of boost at it, so in this case it should hold up. stock blocks have made over 1000hp reliably, but in those cases probably wouldnt last as long.

This is my biggest concern with this build, the LS7 in the Z06 was known for dropping lifters like crazy, hence why most people just do a heads cam build on them the moment they get them

This is one of my dream cars and I've always wanted one in yellow just like the one in this video but with a spoiler I remember back in 2009 watching the commercials about these beautiful cars and in 2010 my mom bought me a RC car in yellow and it was huge and I LOVED that RC car for the first few days I had that RC car I had it on my bed while I slept...and if that doesn't put you in perspective of just how much I loved that RC car idk what would explain it

it comes with both, they didn’t mind giving up the “hard top only” for the performance trim of the c6 because the chassis was stiff enough as a targa so they let it be an option on the Z06 even

The C6 ZO6 did not come in a targa top. Only the C7 ZO6s have that option. Though in 2013, Chevrolet did offer a 427 convertible.

@@manuelflores2177 The car is a Z06. The C6 Z06 and ZR1 had "fixed" roofs for rigidity, but they actually are a separate piece that bolts into place, therefore they can be swapped out which is what happens in this video. If you look carefully you can see when they take the old panel out the mounting brackets are sticking out of the back side. On the base and Grandsports the roof panel latches in place and those brackets are not there, instead there are holes for the latches to engage with. Hope this helps clarify what's happening in this vid!
