When starting a project what determines whether the lights go on back or throughout? Is it the "denseness" of the scene? For example, this image is pretty much open throughout whereas some are filled in the center. Do you have any completed examples of lights on back page only? Also, how wide are the mat board strips and the double-sided tape?

I always put lights on every layer, I do not put them on the back only. My strips are 8mm wide

I cut with a guillotine, you can but mount board at picture framing stores and craft stores

Can you use craft foam board for the spacers?

That may be too thick. Mount board is only 2mm

It's Mount board cut into strips, 1cm wide always full hight of the inside of the frame :)

Hi, love your designs! What material setting do you use on the Cricut to cut the Centura Pearl? I have tried heavy cardstock and more pressure and it's still not cutting all the way through? Thanks :-)

I understand the spacers holding the partial sides of a cutout layer, but what if the layer has only a bottom and no sides or top? Should I run a spacer on all 3 sides?

No, still just the sides, because the spacers are all full height they sandwich the layer
