I think you can buy a wooden candleholder cheaper than you made that one, wood at Home Depot is not cheap

This channel is new to me. It popped up on my feed. I'm glad it did. Some nice ideas here. So, I'm binge watching. Note: Some pieces called for, such as the wood chunks, can/may be found at thrift stores. Not necessary to buy at home improvement stores. It's not a big deal that some of the ideas are repeated in the same video or in another video. Just speed past the part you've seen already or watch something else. I appreciate these truly creative ppl and the effort that it takes to make a video of any length and content. Not all ideas come about bc of a dry or slow cash flow. Some ppl just 'see' how to make a thing out of other things. They are sharing. I have subscribed. Thanks

Got as far as the first "genius idea". So far, you're spending $36, plus whatever the stain costs, for a hideous candleholder? I'm out of here.

Wouldn’t it be easier to glue the wood beads on the first plate then glue the second plate on top? Is there a reason it wouldn’t work?

There are a few great ideas here that don't look cheap and are very creative. Nothing like having something I've created that's not store bought in my space. I'll definitely be implementing a few of these in my home.

In the first segment you used the drill with the wide bit incorrectly. You never hold what you’re drilling into with one hand with the drill close to it. Secure the piece you will be drilling so that both hands are safely clear of the drill bit. One slip and you’d have a nasty cut if not a hole in your hand.

Food grade gloves? You can use latex gloves, and that will work just fine. Any type of gloves would be fine. You staining a wood candle holder, where you are going to be sticking a candle in. Those plastic food prep gloves are garbage anyway. I've used them to stain before, and the stain eats holes into the gloves and you end up with stained hands.

The silk plant is ok, but I’d leave off the Spanish moss. It’s very dated (90’s), to add the moss, because looks like it belongs in a model home or apartment. All of these crafts kind of do.

I cringe when I watch people spray paint. They always saturate the object with uneven spraying. Never spray the paint in a manner that puts too much paint in one spot. A better way is to use slow back and forth passes of the paint to cover the object.

Ms C your comments are very negative . If your not interested move on….it’s just ideals for people that can afford it. Crafts are good for people to keep their problems out of mind for a little while. They may have stuff around their house or friends. And, the ideals are something they didn’t think about.
