In this weeks video I'll be going over my pond build in detail. From the exact products I've used to the cost of each product used. I'll show you how everything works and the final cost of my project. I was aiming for around $1 per gallon. Come see how it all works and maybe I'll inspire you to build your own!
Pool Pond Parts List:
Intex Pool - www.amazon.com/Intex-Rectangu...
Jebao DCT 15000 Pump - www.amazon.com/Jebao-DCT-1500...
Greenhouse Roofing Panels - www.homedepot.com/p/Suntuf-26...

I'd have used Lava Rock instead of the Pot Scrubbers. It would have been 10 bucks or so for a Bag that would have given the same volume, but probably thirty times the surface area for the Bacteria to populate on.

I'm doing the mini intex pool pond set up for my goldfish. And I couldn't be more excited for the build. Great to know about the insulation. I live in Ohio and I'm planning to put them in my sunroom so I definitely need that for in the winter.

New to your channel. I love this pond! Great idea! Cheers! I wish i could've had this in my apartment maybe my koi would still be alive. I moved them to an outside pond and they got a bacterial infection and died. Had them for over a year. They were all pretty big esp 3 were over a foot long and 6lbs hence moving them to a pond instead of my 75g tank. I want to someday afford a 200 gallon+ to get a silver arowana. Thats a dream fish for me! But i never even thought of this altho the weight would probably be too much as im not a basement apartment. I'm definitely gonna save this video for future reference!

Hey Matt, I've had a 600gallon pool pond it my basement for 3 years now. It's sitting directly on the concrete and it stayed at 61f all through the winter. my fish have grown so it's time to upgrade to a 1600 gallon. this time I'm insulating the floor. I really love my koi. I want A big tank too and I'm thinking plywood....
