Hi Brian! In one of your (more) recent videos, I belive it was the wine glass box one, you camp the finger joints using clamping blocks. Do you see a significant improvement using "finger blocks" over clamping just inside the joints, like you did in this video? LOL, I know it is an old video, so I don't expect you to remember the details :D Cheers.

It was way easier, and the joints came out tighter using the clamping block method. I will most likely use that method every time from here on out. Thanks for binging my content!

Brian Benham I made an exact replica, instead of having shot glasses on both sides I replaced one side with vanilla Cigars. Professor's Christmas Present..

Fair comment mate, its the first video I've seen of yours. However, I'm not ignorant, its just that my understanding of craftsmanship is handskills otherwise you're just engineering. I'm not doubting your abilities, you clearly know your way around the machines and its a lovely box but if we start describing machine work as 'craftsmanship' it depreciates the value of true craftmanship which is working with your hands. And I'm not talking about 'primitive', a highly skilled craftsman can do everything a machine can do, and then some.
