We're nearing the end of the dirt sorting process at the backyard golf course build. I had 35 loads of rough soil to sort the rock out of and the last loads are in view. I'm going to use the rock as a base layer to build some hills and mounds around the golf green, to give the hole some shape and structure. The rock bucket sifts the finer dirt into a pile, and I'll use that soil as a cover layer over the rock. I have a couple piles of clay soil that I trucked in, which will cover the soil layer and hopefully help the turf grass retain moisture. Also, we take a walk through the front lawn that is 100% Kentucky bluegrass and is approaching the two year old stage to show an update. The bluegrass looks great and is loving the irrigation and summer heat.
