Looks great. The pride associated with hand crafting the frame far outweighs the tiny imperfections in the finished product. Yes, indeed "character"!

Was there a reason behind not making the connections smoother?

Roughly how many hours did it take to complete the frame? And how much of that was sanding?

About 14/15 hours work but a large part of that was not knowing we had the correct tools available to mitre the tubes for the front triangle. Then four more hours spent wrapping and glueing the tubes, which is roughly how long the manual said it would take. Sadly sanding was a large part of it, far too large a part of it. Now to see if it actually works as a bike!

Remember when i left a comment where i said that was too much effort for the prize, well i was wrong, i am now quite envious cause this frame looks gorgeous even if it is heavy !

Of course, I remember, I read all the comments 😉 Dave has worked really hard on it and we're hoping it rides as well as it looks
