My dog had an understairs bedroom. My dad put her in there alone for a while after she attempted to run away. She never went in there again for the rest of her life. She never attempted to run away again either though.

Dogs do love that burrow type spaces absolutely, that's why outside dogs love their dog houses, but house dogs too, my dog is a large breed, he loves to come onto my bed when i go to sleep, but after 5-10 mins he goes away in one of few such narrow and tiny spaces between walls and furniture that he chose himself for long sleeps, and i later just made them more comfy with dog beds or carpets. Dog will absolutely love this, especially if there's noise or kids in the house.

@@jordanwatts3519 latex paint doesnt put off fumes likes that. I paint professionally every single day I’ve never even had a headache from the paint. The only other thing she’s using in there is joint compound. Not safe to breathe in the dry mixture but you can clearly see its already mixed and slathered on the wall. Doggo is 100% safe. Corny? Maybe. Dangerous? Not a chance. You could put a newborn in there and it would be no different than being in any other room. Btw dont you think she let everything dry before putting a ball of fur in there? Even if she used oil based paint or anything else that potentially puts off fumes- they no longer release the fumes once they’ve dried…. Thats kind of part of the drying process
