Building a Bioactive Cornsnake Vivarium

How to build an Exo Terra 36x18x18” Cornsnake enclosure. I used a 40w Radiant Heat Panel hooked up to a rheostat. Plant lighting is powered by an Arcadia Jungle Dawn 34” LED and a 7% Arcadia Shade Dweller T5 bulb was used for UVB. Plants include silver satin pothos, global green pothos, neon pothos, kangaroo fern, and a few more I’m probably forgetting.

How do you clean stuck dirt?

I have an adult female corn, and she’s currently in the tank size in the video, would it be detrimental to her health if i kept her in there? I came to the video to refresh my bio active building skills and this is the first im hearing about the 40 gal tank no longer being the minimum. I don’t have a stable income since I’m still a teen, but within a few months should have enough funds for a larger size, any advice?

Is it difficult cleaning up their feces given it’s a bio active enclosure? I’m getting a corn sale and am wondering if I want to go the bioactive route. Also do you have springtails/ isopods in there?

Ive had springtails in my bioactive setup for quite a while, so Id still say that they take quite a while to eat the snake's poop. I clean it on my own and then make sure that the springtails have something to feast on, for example, plenty of reptile-safe and treated dried leaves or rice mixed in with the substrate (the rice gets moldy and springtails eat the mold)

Bioactive enclosures don't need cleaned that's what the clean up crew is for (isopods and springtails) water bowl and spraying is the only thing you need to do
