Building a BMW E36 Trackcar in 12 minutes!

This is a big compilation of me building my E36 Trackcar!
In this video you will the process in 1 year of building this car, from stock to full track car. A lot has been done to the car. Coilovers, wheels, cage, bucket seats, intake, interior delete and much much more.
I hope you guys enjoy the progress so far and I can't wait to see what this car will be in the next 1-2 years.

After 2 years I finally found one that I really like. 320I Sedan with 160.000 kilometers driven. The Engine is in great condition but stuff like seals, bushings and rust needs to get repaired. I'm looking forward to transforming this one into my dream car and keeping it nice. Let's see how well this goes! Dream came true!

Great build, well done matey. Really miss my tuned E36 328is. Mine had a similar induction kit (mine was a Simota), M50 manifold, running 230bhp.

I'm blown away by this build and attention to detail. I want to do something similar but finding the right car is near impossible. In my country the only e36 coupe was the M3 and are so expensive. So I am stuck with the sedans only which is not a bad thing.

Tip, koop alu subframe bussen of terug origineel. PU kruipt over tijd (kruip als in de werktuigbouwkundige term) en je zult zien dat je subframe steeds dichter naar de bodem beweegt en er dus steeds meer ruimte voor bewegen ontstaat.

Dat wist ik niet, heb hier eigenlijk nog iemand over gehoord met PU bussen. Ben van sowieso van plan later naar Uniball te gaan voor de draagarmen, dan kijk ik even wat ik met het subframe doe. Iniedergeval bedankt voor de tip! Ik ga het in de gaten houden

Maatje van mij had zwarte en donkerblauwe powerflex bussen (de hoogste shore hardheid van dat assortiment) in z'n e36 M3 subframe gezet en binnen het jaar was het subframe bijna 5mm "omhoog" gegaan, en zat er dus ook zoveel speling naar "onderen" op (bij optillen kon sub dus zakken). Zelf heb ik het gezien in draagarm bussen, na een a 2 jaar zijn ze waardeloos; alle spanning is er uit en soms zelfs met de draagarmen uit het center. Is echt iets voor een raceauto waarbij je steeds dingen vervangt. Maar goed als het een raceauto is kun je sowieso voor kogels gaan, dat mag echter niet altijd.

Sedan is a more stiff chassis, so better for racing
