Honestly this video is exactly what im doing with my 92 318is. I have a sedan too and ive done lots of work on both but watching this video has explained some of the issues i am facing at the moment with my coupe, my sedan is completely oem including ac the coupe is completely stripped put, putting an s50b30 turbo with zf320z. Also the sedan is about inch taller and an inch narrower than the coupes are. My 92 318is the tittle says 2860 stock weight. My 97 328i sedan weighs 3.2k flat but the main difference is the “medium” diff in the 328 sedan vs the 318is coupe and the engine i4 iron block vs i6 iron block.

Didnt know that! I’m guessing gutted doors are lighter than coupe structures with roll cage compensating for torsional strength.

15 mins would be better for this type of showcase. At 26 min this was dragging on. Interviewer needs to have a better game plan as far as questions, info, and topics to ask. Video could of been way more concise. Content is there and I enjoyed it, but I had to skip way too much. 26 mins and no driving of the car is a lot to ask of a viewer, there’s no pay off!
